PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Archbow Consulting is seeking an individual with significant, real-world, business development, operations and/or management experience in pharmaceutical wholesale distribution, third-party logistics and/or specialty distribution to leverage their industry expertise in a consultant capacity to support pharmaceutical and biotech companies. The Director will be responsible for interfacing with clients to manage distribution team projects, provide subject matter expertise, offer program support to stakeholders and Archbow leadership, and create deliverables for our clients. This position will be remote.
Candidate must be able to demonstrate past experience working directly with pharmaceutical companies to launch new drugs, manage existing programs, or provide commercial optimization services. Job requires an individual who can move fluidly between the needs of several accounts using the following skills and tactics to bring value to their client base. Familiarity with Microsoft Excel functions, working with large datasets, and strong analytic skills preferred.
MAJOR DUTIES OF POSITION:
+ Manage the day-to-day relationship with assigned pharmaceutical customers including project management activities, and provision of on-going communications and readout deliverables with key stakeholders.
+ Provide subject matter expertise related to past industry experience during projects as appropriate. This could transpire in a variety of ways including specialty distributor, third party logistics, and/or specialty pharmacy network selection, program optimization, SOP creation, RFP management and recommendations, etc.
+ Perform market research and data analysis as needed to meet project goals and to stay abreast of industry trends and changes for expansion of individual subject matter expertise.
+ Individual illustrates ability to resolve and/or escalate project/client issues in a timely fashion.
+ Support creation of high-quality client deliverables, including executive level updates, meeting facilitation decks, project status reports, vendor reports, project trackers, meeting minutes, final recommendations, and contract redlines.
+ Provide initial redline review of distribution and third-party logistics agreements, providing notes and comments to Vice President
+ Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision while consistently delivering high-quality results within deadlines
+ Write and promote at least one strategic article annually for the company website
+ Exercise sound judgement and oversight to ensure integrity and compliance with company policies in all activities and communications while fostering Archbow core values and leadership behaviors.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
+ Bachelor’s Degree required in Logistics, Marketing, Business or similar preferred from an accredited institution
+ Strong background with at least 7 years’ experience in full-line wholesaler and specialty distribution, third party logistics, and/or logistics and operations
+ Strong background/familiarity with legal documents and basic legal concepts
+ Strong record of high performance and consistent results with the ability to work independently
+ Strong oral and written communication skills, a polished executive presence, and the ability to influence, including with members of C-suite client stakeholders
+ Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word. Strong proficiency in Excel a plus.

+ Work from home (remote-based)
The range below represents the low and high end of the base salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of an Omnicom Health Group company in the United States. Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience, training, associated responsibilities, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.
+ $150,000 - $180,000
