Director - Acquisition, Media and Performance Management, Boston, MA Boston, United States of America As a Director of Acquisition, you’ll work with your team and other growth marketing leaders in the organization to drive new accounts and revenue growth for the retail banking business of Santander and Openbank US including consumer and small business deposits (checking, savings, CD products), consumer lending (personal loans, credit cards) and investment products. **Roles and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:** + Developing data-driven acquisition strategy for each product suite across deposits, lending, and investment line of businesses to achieve account & revenue growth goals at acceptable cost per acquisition. + Partner with external media agency to plan media activities for both acquisition and brand campaigns across all marketing channels (e.g. paid search, paid social, programmatic display, affiliate marketing, direct mail, etc.) + Oversee the execution of the marketing and media plan to ensure on time delivery of the campaign with flawless execution + Develop a robust test and learn roadmap to improve acquisition performance on a ongoing basis + Develop and implement an omnichannel acquisition marketing plan to align online and offline efforts and drive the most optimal business results + Provide thought leadership and guidance on full funnel measurement of media effectiveness, act as the business lead for the data science & analytics team and assign analytics priorities accordingly + Collaborate with analytics stakeholders in order to provide ongoing actionable insights into campaign performance + Oversee day-to-day optimization tactics implemented by the junior team members and media agency to ensure they align with overall business goal and marketing plan + Staying on top of best practices in the industry and continue to innovate by incorporating GenAI to improve marketing performance and execution efficiency + Develop and present marketing performance review materials to key business stakeholders and executive leadership team on a regular basis. + Overseeing and managing the overall budget for paid media and driving towards optimal efficiency **Required Knowledge and Skills:** Demonstrates thought-leader level abilities with, and/or a proven record of success directing efforts, including: + Domain expertise and hands-on experience in both online and offline marketing practices including direct mail, tv and digital marketing channels. + Current knowledge of digital marketing best practices and marketing technologies + Extensive experiences in managing performance driven marketing functions + Experience in managing large marketing budget and track record of delivering against business goals while maintaining set budget and efficiency + Ability to make data-driven decisions + Excellent team leaders, experienced in talent development **Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or equivalent field or equivalent work experience + 12+ years in marketing, analytics or related experience + 5+ years of people leadership experience + Strong analytical skills and/or technological knowledge + Accomplished team leader and people/project manager. + Demonstrated experience as marketing/advertising strategist. + Excellent relationship management skills. + Strategic and tactical thinker. + Strong knowledge of regulatory environment within the financial services industry. + Strong project management skills, outstanding organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. + Strong business judgement and ability to effectively prioritize work for the team without sacrificing business goals + Strong reporting and analytical skills. + Superior interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. + Understanding of the digital media and advertising technology landscape is a strong plus + Master’s degree or higher is a strong plus **Primary Location:** Boston, MA, Boston **Other Locations:** Massachusetts-Boston,New York-New York **Organization:** Santander Bank N.A.
