Job Description Summary
The Director of Sales Support - TFA is responsible for identifying and acting on approved opportunities to grow the securities business and assets under management for Transamerica Financial Advisors (TFA). Works closely with the President of TFA and the World Financial Group (WFG) leadership team to ensure prioritization of sales support initiatives and alignment with WFG strategy.Job Description
Responsibilities
Increase firm revenue by providing sales support services for our brokerage, advisory and insurance product platforms.Drive sales of securities and advisory products through execution of events, training programs, and sales desk phone support.Create and lead a sales support function that proactively helps advisors navigate TFA and its available capabilities.Support field leadership with identifying securities licensed reps that have capacity for increased productivity and develop a plan for implementation.Serve as chief relationship officer for TFA – wholesaling the TFA platform, developing meaningful relationships, and collecting feedback for improvement.Operate as a business leader for TFA conferences and strategic sponsor resource utilization, and oversee training, calendar content and scheduling.Collaborate with product and platform providers (insurance carriers, Fidelity, asset managers, etc.) to leverage thought leadership and sales support content. Collaborate with Marketing on digital marketing, websites, social media, and other channel marketing initiatives to increase TFA’s awareness of products and platforms.Develop and maintain relationships with field managers and agents; act as a change agent and sounding board to develop solutions and resolve issues.Analyze current and past financial data, such as sales reports, and provide strategies to cut costs and increase revenue.Qualifications
Extensive financial services experience, including managing sales professionals (typically 10 or more years)In-depth knowledge of security and advisory productsExperience providing sales support services, preferably for brokerage and advisory professionalsFINRA Series 6, 63, and 65Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building/relationship-management skillsAnalytical and problem-solving skills to interpret data and make business decisionsPreferred Qualifications

The Salary for this position generally ranges between $160,000- $175,00 annually. This range is an estimate, based on potential qualifications and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
Additionally, this position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at the Company’s discretion.
This position may be eligible to earn commissions based on applicable sales incentive plan(s). All details pertaining to the calculation and payment of those commissions are available in the individual provisions of the sales incentive plan that applies.
