Director Analytics Enablement

The University of Phoenix, Inc. seeks a Director Analytics Enablement based in Phoenix, AZ to manage the collection and activation of analytics data across various projects and recommend enhancements for future execution to drive informed decision-making.

Architect, document, implement and maintain tracking architecture, tagging conventions/taxonomies, data source details, platform extractions, and business logic details. Provide technical solutions to fulfil measurement and reporting goals and serve as the resident expert on the collection of accurate data in a variety of platforms including ESPs, digital media, web analytics, and tag management systems. Solve complex measurement and business challenges through creativity and distill complex technology ideas into simple and digestible concepts that help stakeholders achieve their goals. Work closely with key business partners to build the data framework and lead high-impact data analytics projects to support key strategic initiatives and decision making. Collaborate with the team to define metrics that matter and assist in creating insightful and automated dashboards to measure performance and track key business metrics. Execute large and complex marketing analytics projects and authors SQL to query, load, transform and retrieve data. Position may telecommute from anywhere in the U.S. up to 5 days per week. Annual Salary: $154,125 - $198,200/year.  

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Analytics, Statistics, or a related field plus 5 progressive years of business analysis experience. Specifically, must have 3 years of experience with:

AWS and Azure cloud platforms, including experience with data architecture and services;

Data Analysis through SQL, Python and building AWS Airflow jobs and Glue;

Designing, developing, and managing end-to-end data pipelines, including data discovery, data ingestion, data modeling and integration processes through AWS tools (S3, EC2, RDS, Redshift Spectrum, Lambda function, API connectors);

Creating automated systems;

Managing machine learning models, including those created using SAS and SPSS modeler;

Modeling deployment, schedule monitoring, and optimization; and

Custom report development including dashboards and lead reporting.

Must have 1 year of experience with:

Designing and maintaining structured data taxonomy and tag management system, classifying and organizing data assets, data tagging, and retrieval processes; and

UDMH star schema data modeling (conceptual, logical, and physical)
