Job Posting Overview We are seeking a seasoned manager or senior level analytical professional who is willing to roll up their sleeves and take ownership of a few key clients as well as help build out a platform for loyalty card analytics. This position requires hands on work conducting analysis, managing projects and manipulating data. The ideal candidate would have extensive experience with syndicated data (Nielsen/IRI), Homescan panel data, Spectra and retailer loyalty card data. Additionally, the ideal candidate would have experience with Category Management/Business Insights/Shopper Insights interfacing with retailers and/or manufacturers. Responsibilities Manages and assigns the daily activities for the Business Intelligence team. Provides mentoring and training functions for the Business Intelligence team. Interfaces with clients, customers, and CROSSMARK managers to determine and develop effective usage strategies for analytical resources, as well as the development and presentation of business proposals involving both general and specific business operations. Enhances business operations through development of consultative insights and presentations directed towards generating increased sales. Leads advanced analytics capabilities Manages the use and application of syndicated and non-syndicated data resources. Understands CROSSMARK capabilities/processes and able to recommend insights-based actions that generate incremental revenue for CROSSMARK. Manages the development of a broad range of strategic business planning including, but not limited to, category management, space management, product evaluation, promotion planning and evaluation, trade funds evaluation, and resource allocation. Develops and shares best practices. Streamlines and templates for standard/established analyses. Supports business operations to the sales effort through interaction and consultation with sales executives and other business partners. Qualifications Education/Experience: Bachelors Degree and a minimum of five (5) years experience in consumer packaged goods, or similar field, performing similar or substantially similar functions, or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Superior knowledge of consultative and analytical techniques and concepts is required. Computer Skills: Advanced knowledge and use of Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of other software applications as defined by need and assignment of position. Working knowledge of syndicated data analysis tools. Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has direct supervisory responsibilities. Work environment: Office environment with some travel. Language Skills: English is the primary language skill; however, bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.
