What will you be doing?

Lead a team of 6 Big Data Architects

Make key strategical decisions on our architecture roadmap

Drive the way we organise and run our big data pipelines

Consult our technical teams and architects to help them be efficient and overcome most complex problems

Create team strategy aligned with organizational goals

Help your team to learn and grow adapting to changing needs

Hire, manage, motivate, and mentor so your team is successful

Co-create a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation where everyone feels they belong

What is required to get the job done?

5+ years of line management experience in software engineering

10+ years experience in software and/or product development with a focus on architecture in big data projects

Very strong people leadership skills

Self-motivation, initiative, and ability to drive changes to successful end

Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate most complex problems to different stakeholders

Experience in enterprise architecture, business information modelling, and system design.

Strong SQL-based data warehousing experience, supported with modern cloud-based technology solutions

Experience in applying technology to business strategies.

Broad knowledge of current technology, tools and techniques for software development.
