The estimated base salary range for this role is “$180,000 to $220,000” per year.  
Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience and other relevant factors

Reporting to the Senior Vice President, General Counsel, the Associate General Counsel, Labor & Employment, Litigation plays a critical role in advising and representing the company on all aspects of U.S. employment law and regulations. This includes providing legal counsel on labor relations, accommodations, leave policies, performance management, and employment litigation. You will oversee labor disputes, employee benefits and compensation matters, and employment agreements while ensuring compliance with federal contractor regulations, including OFCCP, EEOC, and NLRB requirements. Additionally, you will lead training initiatives on employment and labor law, support diversity and inclusion efforts, and drive labor and bargaining strategies, including complex union negotiations

What You'll Do:

Provide expert legal counsel on U.S. employment law, labor relations, regulatory compliance, and litigation. Oversee and advise on labor disputes, union negotiations, employee benefits, and employment agreements. Manage employment-related litigation, EEOC and NLRB matters, and compliance with federal contractor regulations. Lead the company’s general litigation strategy, working closely with internal stakeholders and outside counsel. Ensure adherence to federal, state, and industry laws by managing a comprehensive compliance program. Deliver training and legal guidance to leadership and employees on employment and labor law matters. Supervise the Compliance Manager, fostering a culture of ethical and legal integrity across the organization.

Experience in managing external counsel and ensuring legal strategies align with business objectives. Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and provide practical legal guidance to senior stakeholders.

 

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and bar admission in at least one U.S. state (Pennsylvania preferred or willingness to obtain an in-house license in PA) 8+ years of relevant legal experience in a medium to large law firm or in-house legal department. Extensive knowledge of labor and employment law, employment litigation, and compliance regulations.

Strong general litigation management experience, including employment disputes and corporate legal matters. Deep understanding of federal compliance laws, including EEOC, NLRB, OSHA, and OFCCP regulations. Experience developing and delivering legal training programs to business leaders and employees. A track record of aligning legal strategies with business goals to support operational and strategic initiatives. Prior experience managing teams or overseeing compliance functions
