Job Summary

The Director of B2B Media is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the development and execution of media strategies targeted at business-to-business (B2B) markets. This role involves oversight of media planning, partnerships, and digital marketing efforts to engage and grow the B2B audience.

The Director of B2B Media will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive media strategies to drive engagement, brand awareness, and lead generation among business clients. This role requires a deep understanding of B2B markets, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

The Director of B2B Media will work to implement short-term strategies to ensure subscriber acquisition, growth, retention, and revenue gains and assists in the formulation of long-term goals through proven media channels and tactics, while pushing innovation through test-and-learn strategies.

This role will act as a liaison between several cross-functional and shared-service teams to ensure B2B goals and deliverables are being met. 
Supported B2B channels include SMB, Enterprise, Indirect and Wholesale channels.

Responsibilities

•In partnership with our media agency, develop and execute comprehensive B2B media strategies and plans that align with the company's overall business objectives.
•Identify key market trends, audience insights, and competitive landscape to inform media strategies for all lines of B2B business including SMB, Enterprise, Indirect Channels and Wholesale.
•Define and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of media campaigns.
•Prepare information and data to support the development and delivery of performance reporting, working with both our media analysts as well as our internal data and analytics team.
•Partner with the Marketing team on the creation and distribution of high-quality, relevant content tailored to B2B audiences across various media channels.
•Performs in-depth analysis and industry research to provide updates on the B2B competitive and media landscape, which will inform our approach to media strategy.
•Stay up to date with emerging media technologies and trends.
•Communicate media strategies and performance metrics to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
•Manages the B2B Media function by ensuring cost-effective Media Campaigns within the approved budget.
•Identifies opportunities to support demand gen to our various business channels, to include our digital site and buy flow as part of the prospect journey.
•Partner directly with our B2B business partners and stakeholders to deliver media plan recommendations, and continually report on business outcomes.
•Performs in-depth analysis and industry research to provide updates on the B2B competitive and media landscape, which will inform our approach to media strategy.
•Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
 

Qualifications

•Must demonstrate extensive knowledge of the full B2B media and marketing landscape.
•Experience in managing a multi-million-dollar media budget.
•Previous experience within telecommunications industry is a plus.
•Requires 8+ years of relevant experience.
•B.A./B.S. degree in marketing, sales or related field is required.
•Requires strong analytical ability, accuracy, and attention to detail.
•Requires organizational skills, the ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple projects.
•Strong project management orientation. Can hone-in on B2B tactics and drive steps necessary to execute on B2B campaigns.
•Experience In a Test and Learn Environment Preferred
•Challenges the status quo to identify areas for improvement, efficiency, and effectiveness.
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines and demonstrate flexibility.
•Requires good oral and written communication skills.
•Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, with the ability to articulate clear and concise B2B media strategy and tactical concepts that can be understood.
•Self-starter with ability to work under limited supervision.
•Comfortable with and proven success in leading diverse cross functional teams within the organization, while pushing to keep projects prioritized and on schedule.

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $141,372.00 - $232,254.00 / year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
