Our focus on combatting climate change through clean energy technology, our new net zero climate vision for 2030 and enhanced commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion; and supporting the communities we serve make this a particularly exciting time to join PSEG. **Job Summary** This position is responsible for the new construction project initiation stage and project management for all electric and gas new construction projects, electric vehicle and solar net metering requests, demolition and service removals, etc.; Responsible for managing the day-to-day working relationships between PSE&G and the company’s largest 600 industrial and commercial customers; Responsible for maintaining strategic partnerships with key opinion elites within the large I&C business community, builder/developer community and with economic development organizations and policy makers; leading and guiding customer retention and attraction efforts; Manage capital budget of $12M, O&M budget of $17M. **Job Responsibilities** • Responsible for the new construction project initiation stage and project management for all electric and gas new construction projects; responsible for the direction of core utility sales activities including electric & gas service, solar and net metering, and outdoor lighting. For residential & small/medium business customer requests, responsible for Construction Inquiry call center who supports this segment, initiatives the project phase for electric, gas, net meter customer/developer requests. For Large new business projects, the annual scope is >180 major new business projects, valued at >$50M of annual distribution margin revenue and associated with >$80M of capital work to provide service. Responsible for the direction of core utility sales activities, including electric & Gas service and outdoor lighting. Estimated annual upfront costs associated with streetscape projects valued at $2M with $350k of annual distribution margin revenue. • Responsible for overall large customer perception, implementing process improvements, and large customer perception and transactional survey results. Ensure team meets/exceeds operational metrics, inclusive of key performance indicators that are on the Utility/Customer Care Scorecards (i.e. Express Connect cycle time, JD Power, Average Speed of Answer). Ensure KPIs are met across the organization beyond scorecard metrics (Large Customer, New Business and Lighting Perception Surveys, etc.) • Responsible for managing the day-to-day working relationships between PSE&G and the company’s largest industrial and commercial customers. Serves as the company’s subject matter expert in regards to large industrial and commercial customer issues, advocating for the customer's interest in balance with PSE&G’s internal needs and requirements; for large industrial and commercial customers; Responsible for resolving highly complex and visible customer and service issues, such as billing and collections, power quality and new business; Responsible for coordinating activities in response to operational emergencies such as outages impacting large industrial and commercial customers, and all customers with escalated concerns; • Provide organizational leadership creating a workplace that is conducive to positive behaviors and supportive of diversity and inclusion. Organizations include NJ Builder's Association, Choose NJ, NJ Business & Industry Association, Choose NJ, among others. **Job Specific Qualifications** **Essential Qualifications:** • Bachelor’s Degree or in lieu of a degree, HSD/ GED and a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience • Extensive knowledge of utility operations (Electric, Gas, Customer) • Minimum ten years’ experience in the electric and gas utility industry • Minimum six years’ management experience • Knowledge of or experience with Customer Operations. • Prior experience engaging internal and external communications and marketing resources. • Knowledge of PSEG Standards for Business Controls and meeting management’s expectations for effective internal business and SOX controls. • Demonstrated leadership and management skills, teamwork, customer focus, results-oriented **Desired Qualifications:** + Master’s Degree + Large industrial & commercial accounts and new business process experience. + Familiarity with the Customer Experience improvement and related process improvement tools (Lean Six Sigma, Journey Mapping, etc.) + Ability to establish and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders + Demonstrated understanding of utility regulations. + Demonstrated understanding of Collective Bargaining Agreement. + Marketing/Communications experience **Minimum Years of Experience** 10 years of experience **Education** Bachelors **Certifications** None Noted **Disclaimer** Certain positions at the Company may require you to have access to Part 810-Controlled Information.
