Pay range:  $103k - $128k based on experience

Job Summary

Position is responsible for managing the Business Development team to develop, implement and administer a Business Development Sales Plan with the goal of increasing the number of referrals and admissions to hospice and all other new business ventures. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, Communication or a Healthcare related field. May substitute comparable experience for educational requirement.Three to five years experience leading Business Development Teams with documented sales oversight, sales/marketing required.Minimum three years experience in direct management of sales and marketing representatives, including oversight and management of CRM software strongly preferred.In depth knowledge of selling strategies and methodologies, including employee motivation techniques.Proven track record of driving sales revenue and volume goals.Experienced in designing/implementing sales and marketing plans and determining measurable objectives.Equipped with consultative and negotiation sales skills.Ability to work with and relate well to others internal/external to the organization.Strong knowledge base of healthcare, preferably Hospice service line and market space.Requires excellent oral communication, writing skills, organization, leadership, customer service, management, creative and critical thinking, ability to drive sales results.Must be proficient in Microsoft office applications, including excel and word.
