Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Campaigns and Content to drive Paylocity’s integrated marketing and sales campaign efforts. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, coordinating, executing and measuring integrated sales and marketing campaigns; overseeing content strategy across multiple channels to drive awareness, engagement, and growth; leading 3rd party and proprietary research initiatives; positioning Paylocity as an industry thought leader; and increasing brand reputation and awareness. You'll create and build connective campaign tissue between channel owners and marketing and sales functions, influencing stakeholders and driving campaigns in an inclusive, highly collaborative manner that enhances the work and optimizes results.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement an integrated campaign strategy to increase brand awareness, attract potential customers, and help retain and expand relationships with current customers. In collaboration with key marketing and sales functions, develop a strategic campaign playbook to guide standardized, scalable processes that optimize and measure marketing campaigns. Develop a roadmap of integrated multi-channel marketing campaigns - from the very top to very bottom of funnel, of every flavor including awareness, nurture, cross-sell/upsell, competitive, product launch, etc. Collaboratively build integrated plans with experts across all channels – web, digital, SEO, email, events, social, etc. Act as the orchestrator, dedicated collaborator and key coordinator driving consistent execution of campaign roadmap across marketing and sales functions – and owning the ultimate outcome and reporting. Oversee content marketing and the development of a top-of-funnel thought leadership program that establishes our position as an industry leader Ensure brand messaging consistency across all marketing materials, content, and touchpoints Conduct market research and analyze B2B customer insights to inform brand positioning, campaign strategies, and content topics Conduct and oversee third-party and proprietary research to identify consumer insights, competitive analysis, and emerging trends to inform brand strategy and campaign development. Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance on campaign, thought leadership, brand and content initiatives Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for brand differentiation and thought leadership Develop and manage marketing budgets, tracking ROI and KPIs for all campaigns and content initiatives Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, sales, and subject matter experts to align brand, campaign, and content efforts Manage relationships with external partners, agencies, and industry influencersQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or related field 10+ years of experience in B2B marketing campaign development, and content strategy A demonstrated track record of successfully leading teams and managing other leaders within an organization Proven track record of developing and executing successful B2B marketing campaigns, thought leadership initiatives and brand campaigns Deeply collaborative, relationship-orientated approach, with the ability to integrate needs and perspectives of diverse stakeholders into shared approaches. Strong understanding of B2B branding principles, content marketing best practices, and customer behavior Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills Proficiency in B2B marketing analytics and performance measurement tools Experience managing budgets and allocating resources effectively Creative mindset with the ability to translate complex B2B concepts into compelling brand stories, campaigns, and content A deep understanding of the B2B sales cycle and the ability to align marketing efforts with sales goals is essential.Paylocity is an equal-opportunity employer. The pay range for this position is $127,000-190,000yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for our variable commission plan and an annual restricted stock unit grant based on individual performance in addition to a full range of benefits outlined here.
