Job Purpose:
This position is responsible for planning, implementing, and administering the Child Care Program operations and activities to meet the established requirements of the Child Care Licensure of the State of Wisconsin.

Interviewing and hiring qualified staff and providing orientation, training, development, coaching, and performance management as needed. Maintaining licensure requirements and policy changes through regular staff meetings. Scheduling to maintain an efficient number of staff to meet the center’s needs. Maintaining current and accurate client and staff records, including all WI licensing required components. Ensuring that the center meets all WI licensing requirements to include: Standards of health and safety (Sanitation). Learning environment. Nutrition and food preparation. Physical safety and well-being of children and staff. Completing child enrollment information, including applications, immunization, and allergy records Establishing and executing policies and procedures that ensure the well-being of children to include: Developmentally appropriate curriculum. Positive Behavior Management Plans. Safe arrival and departure. Maintaining an environment that is tolerant and respectful of child and family culture, values, and systems. Provide families with information and assistance with community resources. Report evidence of suspected abuse/ neglect to the local Department of Social Services. Establish fees and the procedure for obtaining fees and monitor fee payments. With the approval of the PSN director, order appropriate teaching supplies to meet the children's educational needs. Represent the center in the community and liaise with other agencies. Works with the quality department to develop appropriate measures to support program outcomes. Participates in department quality planning activities (e.g., Continuous improvement, Logic models, performance metrics, etc.). Other duties as assigned.Supervisory Responsibilities:
Performs human resources responsibilities for employees, including onboarding, training, coaching on performance, completing performance reviews, and improving overall employee morale. Recommends hiring, terminations, compensation changes, promotions, corrective action decisions, and terminations. Reviews and approves the accurate time report. Responsible for ensuring that personal actions and the actions of supervised employees comply with the policies, regulations, and laws applicable to the program funders, contracts, and CFI business
