Each day we work towards a shared goal – to build the world’s largest online community of medical professionals and industry partners by being the best partner possible.  Innovation: our tech-first approach to the conventional worlds of physician engagement and healthcare insights powers our ability to make a positive impact in new and unique ways.  Passion: whether a technologist, content buff, savvy marketer, biz dev guru or quant geek, we are all motivated by our passion to improve global healthcare each and every day. Responsibilities:Identify prospective customers, lead generation and conversion Continue to develop relationships and expand partnerships with current customers Uncover client’s business initiatives and pain points. Organize and present solution sets that optimize the value of Sermo as a strategic partner Focus on growing and expanding entire brand portfolios. Create offering packages that address emerging client needsExpose new Sermo products to key stakeholders, using deep understanding of our product offerings/executions and value. Ownership of QBRs for key accounts.  Manage Salesforce.com pipeline and accurately forecast your business on a weekly basis Achieve/Overdeliver against quota on a quarterly and yearly basis Attend pertinent conferences and events to grow your book of business Entertain clients where appropriate to develop your client relationships  What you have:Background in Pharmaceutical Healthcare required with 5+ years minimum of selling in directly to either brand teams or media agencies focused on HCP, DTC or Primary/Secondary researchOutstanding verbal, written and stand-up presentation skillsPrior experience with Salesforce.com CRM, or other CRM used to manage sales pipeline, required Demonstrated ability to quickly come up to speed on pharmaceutical and healthcare marketing trends and challengesA proven connector in your daily life through social media and other mediums Up-to-date on digital and application trends, especially in the healthcare space  Skills and Qualifications:BA/BS degree or similar college level education; in lieu of degree, relevant skills or equivalent experience5+ years of selling directly to brand teams and/or agencies in the Healthcare space Experience managing the sales cycle from business champion to the C-level  Demonstrated success in carrying a quota, closing Fortune 1000 deals  Track record of over-achieving quota (top 10-20% of company) in past positions  Experience managing and closing complex sales cycles - demonstrated ownership of all aspects of stakeholder management  Successful history of net direct new business sales, with the ability to prove consistent delivery against targets Strong and demonstrated written, verbal and presentation skills  Compensation, Benefits & Perks:Competitive base salary401K matchFlexible PTO Health, dental, and vision insuranceFitness ReimbursementsCommuter pre-tax benefitsCompany paid lunch once a weekThe opportunity to revolutionize real world medicine and amplify the voice of physicians globally About Sermo is the world leader in turning physician experience, expertise, and observations into actionable insights for the global healthcare community.
