Director - Commercial Excellence (9243)
Position Summary

Lead large scale programs as a Delivery Director enabling  global life sciences companies to manage sales performance for their field force through Axtria solutions and innovative methodologies

Job Responsibilities

• Leadership – Lead & guide the team independently or with little support to implement & deliver complex project assignments.

• Logical Thinking – Able to think analytically, use a systematic and logical approach to analyze data, problems, and situations. Must be able to guide team members in analysis.

• Project & Process Management –

o Get accurate briefs from the Client and translate into tasks for team members with priorities and timeline plans.

o Must maintain high standards of quality and thoroughness. Should be able to monitor accuracy and quality of others' work.

o Ability to think in advance about potential risks and mitigation plans.

o Ideate, implement, adhere, and monitor quality processes essential for delivery excellence

• People Management o Provide leadership to help people perform at their best, through motivating and developing them to achieve high performance.

o Provide structure, direction, and purpose to your team through effective communication/regular meetings

o Provide clear guidance, instruction, advice or coaching for the job. Be accessible. Where appropriate, aim for inclusivity - enabling staff to input ideas, and consulting on change and development.

o Use the performance management process as a valuable tool for supporting employee development and improvement.

• Handle Client Relationship – Manage client relationship and client expectations independently. Should be able to deliver results back to the Client independently. Should have excellent communication skills.

Education Bachelor of EngineeringMaster of Technology in Information Technology or ComputerWork Experience

Required Experience:

Minimum of 10-12 years of relevant experience in the Incentive Compensation domain.

Technical:

Must have minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in one or more of these technologies: SQL, VBA, SAS, R Must have worked on at least one Incentive Compensation tools: Varicent, Optymyze, Callidus, Xactly, Others Intermediate to Advanced expertise with MS excel

Functional:

Must have lead teams on implementation of Incentive compensation solution Must have worked on more than 2 incentive projects in past Experience in other sales operations functions like alignment, call planning, reporting would be a plus Must have experience of managing PnLs for the projects managed Experience in either developing new solutions or business development (pre-sales) is a definite plus
