BODYARMOR is looking for a Commercial Operations Director to join our team. 

This role leads BODYARMOR’s Commercial Operations team focused on providing strategy, tactics, and support for BODYARMOR’s executional organization calling on customers and bottlers. The role works cross-functionally with internal departments, brand & field marketing, business insights, operations, finance, customer, and bottler sales teams. The Commercial Operations Director is responsible for facilitating commercial communication and alignment with all levels of bottler commercial leadership, as well as maintain strong connection with Coca-Cola North America commercial leadership teams. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Partner with BASN Division GM to evolve Sports Hydration strategy to achieve market share leadership and accomplish stronger bottler partnerships over time.Build trust and value with senior bottler management team to increase effectiveness of BASN effortsCollaborate with Sr. Director of Field Sales to create tools and tactics for merchandising strategy to maximize availability, brand platform growth and impactful retail execution  Interlace FSOP channel plans against commercial programming to ensure bottler integration for national programs and bottler led key accountsMaximize market presence and SOVI for BASN’s strategic channel priorities in both Retail and FSOPManage alignment & coordination with BASN commercial teams on commercial strategy across the sports hydration portfolio, and coordinate the creation of all ops plans (customer facing and bottler facing ops plans)Lead the integration & synchronization of the BASN commercial plans with the NAOU commercial teams including Operating Plans, Merchandising Standards, LOS/Merchandising Solutions, Innovation (product launches), Trimester Commercial Schedule and PicOS alignmentIntegrate key sales and cross functional routines to drive execution and delivery of all customer, bottler and company objectives (BASN Triangle Offense)Create bottler awareness and ownership of National Account execution and facilitate day one executionConstruct and implement plans to fill customer voids in core sku distribution to achieve market readinessProvide strategic bottler & customer team support and drive alignment on all promotional activity, marketing and innovation plans including strategy, tactics, and execution requirements Supervise the internal trimester ops deck/pillar program planning process working cross-functionally with brand marketing, communications, creative, shopper marketing, business intelligence, partnerships, legal and senior leadershipOversee the end of month trade spend reconciliation process working cross functionally with field sales, finance and business planning Responsible for the management of the Commercial Operations Budget

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of bachelor’s degreeMinimum 7-10 years of experience in a relevant role CPG and/or DSD/RTM preferredPrevious experience dealing with Bottler partners, navigate crisis, turnaround challenging performance, beating competition, and developing business capabilitiesStrong analytical and negotiation skillsReliable, hard-working & proactive team player with can-do attitudeStrategic and creative thinker who can work independentlyPeople manager with excellent leadership capability, able to work in a networked environment, highly efficient communicator, and influencer at all levelsExperience developing channel & retail tactics, digital, marketing programs and segmented commercial plansPosition requires substantial travel by car and plane, including both local and neighboring geographic territories. Must be located in the bottler geography, preferably in either Atlanta or Birmingham.Position requires in-person attendance at bi-annual company meetings and frequent Division meetings around the U.S.Must hold and maintain a valid driver's license and be able to drive long distancesMotor Vehicle Records must satisfy Company standards per Driving Policy

Pay Range:

$141,000 - $165,200

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
