JOB PURPOSE:

Join a team leading business and digital transformation across McCain’s largest customers and Global McDonald’s Business Unit (MBU).  At McCain, we are on a mission to be “Customer Obsessed” and as our largest customers transform with digital technologies, we aim to be their strategic partner, leading pilots and accelerating implementation of their priority programs.

As part of the Global McDonald’s Business Unit (MBU) senior leadership team, you will actively participate in customer-facing meetings to define and contribute to the digital plans for McDonald’s, one of our largest global customers.   You will engage at a senior level in McDonald’s Supplier Digital Advisory Group (SDAG) to lead initiatives and plan together to deliver programs.  You will prepare for and attend monthly team meetings and working sessions with McDonald’s, at global and regional levels.  Areas of priority include digital track-and-track programs, digital communications platforms and digital culture.

 

We seek an experienced digital leader with functional knowledge in supply chain and manufacturing, with a proven track record implementing digital technologies in supply chain or manufacturing.  You will work with McDonald’s global and regional teams, the MBU and McCain’s Digital Technology team to shape a digital transformation vision for streamlining, adding data visibility and adding value to our relationship with McDonald’s and other global customers.  Focus outcomes include data consistency and visibility and finding opportunities for efficiency across the System.

 

Working across McCain, you will collaborate with cross-functional regional and global organizations to define and deliver digital capabilities in support of our customers.  In close partnership with global digital data & analytics teams at McCain, you will lead data strategy initiatives to define the roadmap for data and advance analytics to support the MBU and the customer.  You will work together with MBU, the customer, and other stakeholders to document requirements and objectives to create roadmaps and deliver solutions.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Lead strategic initiatives with McDonald’s in the Supplier Digital Advisory Group (SDAG) (e.g. EDSC, S&OP, SIM, GS1, Amabis), which includes leading a diverse team from McDonald’s and several McDonald’s suppliers to deliver solutions. Ensure that McCain is compliant with all McDonald’s digital requirements including the master data in SIM, PIM and Merlin among other systems.   Oversight to administer access to McDonald’ systems and maintaining Supplier Hierarchy.  Become McCain’s expert in digital track and trace to support the global EDSC initiative.  Individuals will partner with cross- functional teams within McCain to deliver solutions.Global McDonald’s Business Unit (MBU) liaison with McCain’s Global Data and Analytics Team to develop data and analytics to drive value for McDonald’s.Establish digital capability roadmaps and outcomes/success metrics in partnership with Global Digital Technology delivery teams.  Emphasis on supply chain transformation to evolve digital ways of working with customers.

 

KEY QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:

Successful execution of supply chain digital transformation and/or supply chain data and analytics solutions, including digital track-and-trace, S&OP, SIM/PIM/GS1 or others At least 10 years of experience in Technology, Supply Chain and/or Manufacturing, including history of progressive roles and responsibilities increaseExperience working in cross-functional teams in support of business strategies.  Focused experience working across supply chain processes between customers and suppliers, including enabling digital ways of working.Ability to influence direction and strategy to bring value to global customers and business.  Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships within McCain and with McDonald’s and McDonald’s suppliers. You must have excellent business relationship, thought leadership, engagement skills, verbal and written storytelling skills with a strong ability to analyze business processes to translate these into impactful business solutions.  Data strategy and architecture skills (e.g. defining data elements, definitions and pattern) to leverage data and analytics for insights.  Working knowledge of supply chain data, product and financial flows.Strong experience with adoption of GS1 standards and industry knowledge.  Basic concepts of data exchange (e.g. EDI) between supply chain trading partners and understanding of supply chain planning and execution. Project management – can lead large-scale global programs and cross-functional teams with a structured approach.Delivery and management of technology solutions, systems and processes with emphasis on supply chain processes and digitalization.Preferred: 10 years’ experience in working in a CPG, Food Service or QSR company with proven track record of working with Commercial Business Leadership.Preferred: Understanding of the culture of McDonald’s and how to get things done within the McDonald’s ecosystem.  Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals spanning McCain, McDonald’s and McDonald’s suppliers at all levels of the organization. 

 

OTHER INFORMATION

Regular travel is not required but may be expected for specific team commitments.Applicant must be located within a commuting distance from a McCain office with working from home an option upon agreement with manager and McCain policies.
