The Director - Data & Analytics for Arby’s keeps a constant focus on business

performance in order to develop insights and recommendations to inform the future strategic direction of the brand. This individual is an expert in managing and reporting information critical to business insights and decision-making and is an integral member of the Arby’s Business Leadership Team alongside. The Director also manages a team that can answer a high volume of business questions in a fast-paced environment all while maintaining a positive culture focused on team-member development.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Insight generation – generate insights that improve the business through linking various data sources (e.g., sales, competitor, market, customer, etc.)Relationship management – develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and partnersTeam development – build a strong analytics team that delivers value and develops top performers, all while maintaining a positive team culture.Business analysis and forecasting – analyze brand performance and sales trends, leveraging historical learnings to predict future performance.Promotion/product analysis – measure both tests and national promotions and/or products to assess their contribution to the overall business.Process improvement – continually scrutinize current analytic processes to develop and implement improved, efficient, and insightful processes.KPI reporting – create and maintain reports that assess ongoing business performance, leading indicators, and explanatory factorsAd hoc reporting – develop, execute, and deliver reports based on brand business requirementsProject management – ensure that medium/long term projects are implemented on time and achieve objectives

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum: 4+Year degree in Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Business or Mathematics)Minimum: 8+ years relevant experience in marketing, business analysis, data management / reporting, or other related area or an MBAGraduate degree preferred

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES

Ideal candidate has an inquisitive nature and a passion for learning and solving problemsSelf-starter personality who can operate with minimal supervisionAbility to make an impact in a complex matrix organization. Must be able to effectively interact at all levels of the organization across multiple functional areas.Understands marketing principles and strategy, and possesses strong analytical skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, with expertise in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, advanced functions, formulas, filtering, etc.) and database skills (e.g., SQL). Advanced mathematics and/or statistics skills a plus. Ability to collect and synthesize information, making it relevant, understandable, and actionable for key stakeholdersAbility to balance multiple projects with competing deadlinesExcellent writing, presentation, project management and strong influencing skills requiredExcellent writing, presentation, project management and strong influencing skills requiredInterest in the restaurant industry and desire to train in our restaurants to learn operations, and a strong desire to help shape the future at Inspire BrandsSignificant team management experience with clear evidence with clear examples of supporting team member growth and developmentMinimal travel may be required
