Director Data and Architecture

GENERAL OVERVIEW:

The job will be responsible for overseeing and implementing the organization's data and architecture strategy and ensure that these are aligned with organizational goals and objectives. They will work with  senior leaders to identify and prioritize data and architecture initiatives. This role will develop and implement architecture governance policies and procedures, lead the organization's technology framework and develop and implement integration solutions to ensure that the organization's systems are integrated and interoperable. The incumbent will also monitor and report on the performance of the organization's architecture and integration and stay up-to-date on the latest architecture and integration trends in Digital Health. 


ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform management responsibilities to include, but are not limited to: involved in hiring and termination decisions, coaching and development, rewards and recognition, performance management and staff productivity.Develop and implement enterprise architecture: Responsible for developing and implementing an enterprise architecture that aligns with the organization's overall business goals. This architecture should include a roadmap for how the organization will design, build, and operate its IT and Digital systems.Manage architecture governance: Responsible for managing architecture governance, which includes establishing policies and procedures for how the enterprise architecture is developed, implemented, and maintained.Collaborate with stakeholders: Responsible for collaborating with stakeholders across the organization to ensure that the enterprise architecture meets their needs. This includes working with business leaders, IT, and other departments.Lead the organization's digital transformation: Responsible for leading the organization's digital transformation, which includes developing and implementing strategies to use technology to improve the organization's operations and customer experience.Stay up-to-date on technology trends: Responsible for staying up-to-date on technology trends and ensuring that the enterprise architecture is aligned with these trends. This includes attending conferences, reading industry publications, and networking with other architecture professionals.Advocate for the use of data and information: Responsible for advocating for the use of data in decision-making. This includes presenting the benefits of data-driven decision-making to senior leaders and other stakeholders.Other duties as assigned or requested.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or MIS7 years in Data Engineer, IT Engineer, and Platform Engineer5 years in Technology/Data Architecture5 years in Management/Leadership

Master's degree in Engineering.5 years in Leading digital transformation3 years experience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure, and GCP3 years in Development and Maintenance Data Warehouses with large solutions3 years experience in Software Application Development
