The Program Management Governance Bus Unit Sr Group Manager manages multiple teams through other managers. In-depth understanding of how own sub-function contributes to achieving the objectives of the function. A good understanding of the industry, direct competitors' products and services, is also necessary in order to contribute to the commercial objectives of the business. Requires thorough understanding of strategic direction of the function within the relevant part of the business, combined with a solid conceptual/practical grounding in both the function and/or area of expertise and related subject areas. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Some external communication/negotiation may be necessary. Responsible for executing functional strategy in area managed. Determines approach to implementing functional strategy. Accountable for end results, budgeting, planning, policy formulation and contribution to future strategy of the area(s). Impact reflects size of team managed, strategic influence on the business and interaction with other functions or businesses. Full management responsibility for multiple teams, including management of people, budget and planning, to include duties such as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations and budget approval. May be doing involved or responsible for diverse (cross-discipline) activities. Typically, a direct report to a C16 role and function as an integral member of the functional leadership team within a country/site location, job family, or line of business. **Responsibilities** : + Ensures managed areas are defining and implementing practices that are aligned with business strategy and goals. Involved in a wide range of diverse activities that require strategic vision and analysis. + Applies a broad and comprehensive understanding in multiple functional areas and their underlying business principles. + Responsible for internal communications, right placement/managed services and training. Ensures business unit is meeting or exceeding components of service level agreements. + Resolves a variety of broad based and complex issues. Uses sound understanding of theories and practices in multiple related subject areas. + Has full management responsibilities for team (includes people, budget and planning). Provides evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual information in complicated and unique situations; uses multiple sources of information. + Impacts the area through responsibility for planning, finances/budget, end results, setting policies and contribution to strategic decisions. Persuades and influences others through communication and diplomacy skills; may negotiate with external parties. + Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards. **Qualifications** : + 15+ years of experience in program/project management with extensive experience in business, functional and people management. + Budget management, Risk & Control management, influencing skills + Managerial experience **Education** : + Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred **Responsabilidades Clave:** + Definir y gestionar la agenda estratégica del banco, priorizando iniciativas alineadas con la visión y objetivos de negocio. Esto incluye la selección, planificación y ejecución de proyectos estratégicos. + Desarrollar e implementar metodologías de gestión de proyectos robustas y eficientes, asegurando la alineación con las mejores prácticas de la industria. + Liderar la planificación, ejecución y seguimiento de proyectos estratégicos, asegurando el cumplimiento de plazos, presupuesto y alcance. + Fomentar una cultura de alta ejecución orientada a resultados, mediante la implementación de un sistema de gestión de proyectos que priorice iniciativas de alto impacto, con métricas de desempeño precisas y seguimiento exhaustivo de los entregables y beneficios. + Implementar un sistema de monitoreo continuo del progreso de los proyectos, con el fin de identificar y gestionar proactivamente los riesgos y descontinuar aquellas iniciativas que no demuestren un valor alineado con los planes estratégicos y compromisos establecidos. + Optimizar la asignación de recursos financieros mediante un proceso flexible que permita la redirección de fondos hacia proyectos o áreas que demuestren un desempeño consistente con sus planes y objetivos estratégicos. + Llevar a cabo análisis post-implementación exhaustivos para identificar las mejores prácticas, áreas de mejora y lecciones aprendidas, con el objetivo de optimizar los procesos de planificación y asegurar la mejora continua. + Gestionar y coordinar a un equipo de gerentes de proyectos. + Asegurar la comunicación efectiva entre las diferentes áreas del banco y los stakeholders clave. + Reportar el progreso de los proyectos a la alta dirección. + Desarrollar y mantener relaciones sólidas con los líderes clave de la organización para asegurar el apoyo y patrocinio de las iniciativas estratégicas. **Perfil del Candidato:** + Licenciaturas Económico - Administrativas, Ingenierías, Desarrollo Organizacional o campo relacionado. Maestría en Administración de Empresas (MBA) o en Gestión de Cambio es deseable. + Certificación PMP o similar es deseable. + Más de 15 años de experiencia en el sector financiero mexicano, con un enfoque en la administración de portafolios de proyectos y la ejecución de iniciativas estratégicas. + Experiencia comprobada en la gestión de proyectos complejos, utilizando metodologías ágiles y tradicionales. + Sólida comprensión de los principios de gestión de riesgos y la gestión financiera de proyectos. + Habilidades excepcionales de liderazgo, comunicación y negociación. + Habilidades analíticas y de resolución de problemas excepcionales. + Dominio del idioma español e inglés. ------------------------------------------------------ **Job Family Group:** Project and Program Management ------------------------------------------------------ **Job Family:** Program Management Governance ------------------------------------------------------ **Time Type:** Full time ------------------------------------------------------ Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
