We are seeking a visionary leader with a strong technology and financial management background who knows that delivering on that promise takes foresight, planning and agility. Metric-driven cost optimization, workload-specific forecasting and robust cost modeling are among the tools and practices required to drive accountability for delivering business solutions that derive maximum value. The result will provide a solid foundation for decision-making around cost, quality and speed. This pivotal role combines technical leadership with product management expertise, requiring a unique blend of analytical prowess, strategic vision and effective stakeholder engagement. As the primary liaison to executive stakeholders across Technology, Finance and Business Units, you will help implement and operationalize a Technology Business Management solution and ensure that our cost allocation models align with our organizational goals and drive informed decision-making.

If you have deep experience with cost transparency, allocation, and optimization, you'll find a fit within our Global Infrastructure Cost Transparency team responsible for establishing consistent workload attribution, unit economics and business value metrics. This role presents an exceptional opportunity to impact our organization’s financial and technological direction.

Lead a team of specialized data engineers and data analysts focused on the development and enhancement of infrastructure cost models and enterprise-level integration of a Technology Business Management solution Strategize and implement advanced methodologies and tools to enhance the accuracy and effectiveness of cost attribution across various technology platforms Drive the continuous improvement of cost modeling systems and processes, ensuring they remain aligned with evolving business needs and technological advancements Assume product owner responsibilities for the cost allocation model and Technology Business Management solution, prioritizing feature development, managing roadmaps, liaising with product support and ensuring deliverables meet the highest standards and apply industry best practices Serve as the key liaison to executive stakeholders across Technology, Finance, and Business Unit portfolio leadership, effectively communicating the strategic benefits, impact and value of the cost allocation model Collaborate closely with Finance and Global Supply Management teams to ensure alignment of Infrastructure spending with strategic business objectives and consistent correlation to the delivery of business value Leverage your expertise in SQL, relational database technologies, and enterprise infrastructure to guide the team’s work and ensure the model’s accuracy and relevance Oversee the integration and utilization of financial management software like ApptioOne and TBM Studio, tailoring them to meet specific organizational needs Operationalize the process to Import, transform, and rationalize and validate data from systems of record Drive innovation within the team by encouraging the adoption of new technologies and methodologies for data analysis and model development Ensure the team’s outputs, including data visualizations and reports, are of high quality and provide clear insights to inform strategic decisions Manage the allocation of resources, budgeting and forecasting for the team, aligning with the company’s strategic objectivesQualifications
Are you up for the challenge? Here’s what you should have:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance or related field, with significant leadership experience in data engineering or a similar domain Demonstrated expertise in IT financial management, including budgeting, cost allocation, CapEx/OpEx management, portfolio oversight and ensuring adequate funding and support for enterprise applications, infrastructure and related services Strong product management skills, including deep understanding of the possibilities and limitations of financial management software and experience envisioning and delivering feature iterations in a complex technical environment Deep understanding of SQL, relational database technologies, and familiarity with enterprise infrastructure domains (e.g.; Compute, Network, Storage, Mainframe, etc.) Deep experience with Apptio One and TBM Studio Strong quantitative and analytical skills for financial modeling and analysis Strong to expert-level skills and experience in formulaic logic Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior executives and stakeholders across multiple disciplines Strategic thinker with a proven ability to translate business needs into technical solutions that drive value and efficiency Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experienceSalary Range: $150,000.00 to $225,000.00 annually + bonus + equity (if applicable) + benefits
