THE ROLE
In close partnership with Fortive's VP of Infrastructure and Operations, this role is responsible for developing and implementing a forward-thinking digital workplace strategy that empowers employees to perform at their best. This role focuses on enhancing productivity, collaboration, and employee experience through innovative technology, modern tools, and seamless operational support. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of strategic insight, technical expertise, and leadership acumen to deliver a secure, scalable, and user-centric digital ecosystem aligned with the organization's goals.

LOCATION
Preference for this person to be based in Bangalore, India; hybrid +30% travel.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
· Foster a culture of digital innovation and continuous improvement by incorporating user feedback into decision-making processes.
· Enhance employee engagement by delivering user-friendly, cutting-edge solutions tailored to the evolving needs of the workforce.
· Provide leadership in change management and training initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of digital workplace tools.
· Define and execute the digital workplace strategy aligned with business objectives and workforce needs.
· Stay ahead of trends in workplace technologies to introduce innovative tools and processes.
· Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to ensure digital solutions meet operational and cultural goals.
· Develop and maintain desktop images and software configurations to meet employee needs and compliance requirements.
· Ensure desktop and endpoint performance, reliability, and security through proactive monitoring and troubleshooting.
· Manage hardware inventory and ensure devices meet evolving performance and usability standards.
· Establish and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for device management and user support.
· Prioritize employee satisfaction by delivering intuitive, user-friendly technology experiences.
· Collect and analyze feedback to continuously refine tools, platforms, and support processes.
WHO YOU ARE
· Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
· 8+ years of experience in IT, with a focus on workplace technologies and digital transformation.
· Expertise in modern workplace technologies, including Office 365, collaboration platforms, and endpoint management tools.
· Deep understanding of device management platforms (e.g., Intune, SCCM, Jamf) and modern workplace solutions.
· Strong knowledge of IT security principles and compliance standards for end-user devices.
· Proven ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on implementation.
· Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
