Director of Engineering - Building Management Solutions

As a Director of Engineering for Building Management Solutions here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in leading and managing the engineering function for both Hospitality, Healthcare, and In Room Commercial Building solutions. You will be responsible for providing strategic direction, technical leadership, and operational oversight to the engineering teams working on these solutions. Your expertise and commitment to excellence will contribute to the success of our Building Management Solutions business unit and the satisfaction of our customers.

You will report directly to our Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and you will work out of our Atlanta, GA location on an On-site work schedule.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive innovation, ensure product quality, and achieve business objectives for our Hospitality, Healthcare, and In Room Commercial Building solutions. Your strategic leadership, technical expertise, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams will be instrumental in delivering high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

\n\nProvide strategic direction and leadership to the engineering function for Hospitality, Healthcare, and In Room Commercial Building solution\nOversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects for these solution\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive innovation and achieve business objectives\nEnsure adherence to engineering best practices, quality standards, and regulatory requirements\nManage and optimize engineering resources, budgets, and timelines for these solutions\nIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity\nLead and develop a high-performing engineering team focused on these solutions\n\n

YOU MUST HAVE

\n\nBachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (Master's degree preferred)\n8+ years of experience in engineering leadership roles\nPrior experience in managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders\nStrong technical expertise in building management solutions for Hospitality, Healthcare, and In Room Commercial Buildings\nExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills\nAbility to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders\nExperience in project management and execution\nStrong customer focus and ability to build and maintain relationship\n\n
