Aon Equity Services is the country’s leading full-service provider of consulting services related to equity-based compensation – providing plan design, valuation, tax & financial accounting, performance monitoring & tracking, employee education and communication, and global equity plan compliance to hundreds of publicly traded companies each year. Your impact as a Director, Equity Services As an Equity Services Director, you will work as part of a team to deliver high quality, effective solutions for our clients. You will be responsible for leading client engagements, along with comprehensive data gathering and analysis, conducting sophisticated research, and crafting client deliverables. What a day will look like + Leverage personal/professional relationships to generate business + Lead large client engagements, including clarifying team goals, assigning responsibilities, sharing information, mentoring team members, managing financials, and supervising progress + Work within a team to complete projects, analyses, and meet the needs of clients + Interface and deliver or co-deliver presentations to clients + Manage the deliverable schedules of multiple projects to ensure timely completion + Attend industry training and networking events as well as pursuing/maintaining applicable industry designations + Contribute to the development of innovative client solutions, including new plan design or implementation approaches across multiple client engagements + Promote brand awareness by contributing to thought leadership and presenting at industry events highlighting the equity compensation expertise of Aon’s team Skills and experience that will lead to success: The ideal candidate for the Director position will possess a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of eight years of professional experience, including at least six years in a consulting capacity. CPA, JD, MBA and/or CEP designations are desirable. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering successful client engagements along with the following skills and experience: + Exceptional client relationship management abilities + Enhanced knowledge of equity compensation strategy, design, and implementation issues, including the valuation and accounting under ASC Topic 718 or IFRS 2, taxation and other technical components of employee equity + Well-rounded understanding of executive compensation (e.g., long-term incentives, SERPs, deferred compensation, employment/CIC agreements, etc.) + Outstanding analytical skills, with a knack for synthesizing complex data to generate actionable insights and solve multifaceted problems + Proficiency in both independent work and collaborative environments to introduce innovative services for internal stakeholders and clients alike + Strong business acumen, with an established capacity to align clients’ strategic goals with executive compensation frameworks + Influential leadership skills, capable of engaging with senior management and fostering collaboration across all organizational levels + Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, facilitating effective interaction with diverse audiences + Ability to collaborate well with colleagues in other locations in a fast-paced, virtual, team environment If you are a results-driven professional looking to make a significant impact, we want to hear from you. The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $140,000 - $160,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
