POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY     

 

Under general direction of the VP Engineering/Support Services, plans and organizes a variety of activities designed to enhance the provision of a clean, safe, sanitary and attractive environment for the Environmental Services and Linen Departments. Devise cleaning schedules, assists in monitoring aseptic methods, develops training materials/methods, and in consultation with Housekeeping leadership team, determines tasks, frequencies and performance standards.  Coaches and follows up on management team to ensure policies, standards and expectations are being carried out daily.  Ensures that all such plans and procedures are in compliance with various third-party licensing and accrediting entities.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

 

Associates Degree (Bachelor preferred) in business/healthcare/hospitality management or 10 years experience in healthcare housekeeping management 5 years experience in healthcare housekeeping management Analytical skills sufficient to assess tasks, develop standards, analyze products, prepare training programs, and prepare records/reports. Superior interpersonal skills and strong leadership qualities.
