Position Summary:
The Director of Finance for Radiology will serve as a health care financial operations subject matter expert and partner with the Chair, Unified Administrator and other departmental and system leadership to provide ongoing finance leadership of the enterprise radiology service line’s financial operations and help steer its ongoing growth and integration efforts toward a unified health system that utilizes best practices and scale efficiencies.
Education, Training, & Work Experience Qualifications:
Must have a bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration or accounting. Master's degree preferred in finance, accounting or business/healthcare administration. Minimum of 5 years progressive experience, within a healthcare or hospital financial operations environment. Radiology and revenue cycle experience with professional, technical and global billing preferred. Excellent knowledge of medical center accounting, reimbursement and financial reporting, comprehensive knowledge of financial management responsibilities including effective presentation skills of financial reports and P&L statements High level of literacy with Microsoft Outlook and advanced skill in Excel including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS and importing/exporting data files Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously within tight timelines. Ability to establish credibility and relationships with all levels of staff. Self-motivator with ability to control own schedule and be an independent decision-maker. Demonstrated supervisory experience of projects and people.Knowledge Required:
High level fiscal, analytical, organizational development and administrative management skills specific to ambulatory, hospital, health care setting. Ability to develop and lead the execution of business and strategic plans. Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated experience in project management and financial analysis. Skilled in data analysis, data management and development of comprehensive reports. Business intelligence application tools, EPIC, SAP, Strata. Prior knowledge of industry benchmarking data (MGMA, AMGA, etc.) and CMS physician coding/billing/wRVU guidelines.
