Reporting to the Vice President/Chief Development Officer, the Director of Development & Campaigns is responsible for directing, managing, and coordinating the Foundation's $100M "Making Rural Lives Healthier" campaign development strategy and the day-to-day management of the campaign. The Director manages a portfolio of 35-50 major and principal gift donors and prospects and leads a team of 7 frontline fundraisers, a Prospect Researcher, Donor Relations Manager and administrative assistant.
The Director works with the Vice President/Chief Development Officer, CentraCare strategy leadership, and Foundation Board to develop overall Foundation strategy, annual budget forecast and Key Performance Indicator measurements. Serves as a member of the CentraCare Foundation Leadership Team consisting of the Vice President / Chief Development Officer, Director of Foundation Operations, Director of Development and Foundation Office Supervisor. The Director supports the One CentraCare initiative Our Best Begins with Me at all times. In addition, they support and implement patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate.
Schedule Details:
Full-time | 80 hours every two weeks Primarily Monday – Friday, hours typically between 8am – 5pm Occasional early and late hours dependent on department/organizational need On-site position, primarily working out of CentraCare South Point Travel to other sites requiredPay and Benefits (Total Rewards):

Bachelor’s Degree required Master’s Degree in Philanthropy, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred At least 8 years of experience in professional development Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) certification preferred A driving record in good standing, and the minimum amount of insurance liability coverage required History of successfully soliciting major gifts of $100,000 or greater, including the ability to evaluate, qualify, and move prospects through the major gift cycle Experience managing and leading a large team Successful campaign experience Sound knowledge of laws, practices, and philosophy of charitable giving Exercise discretion and an ability to interact with high-level donors and the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality Demonstrated experience at the advanced level in the use of Microsoft Office and CRM such as Sales Force, Blackbaud, etc. Experience working in a large, complex, not-for-profit organizationDepartment Information:
