POSITION SUMMARY:

The Director, Global Compliance Monitoring is responsible for supporting the Office of Compliance in continuing to develop and implement the Compliance Monitoring Program across Cencora’s global enterprise.  This role reports to the Sr. Director, Global Compliance Monitoring and Investigations, managing the monitoring of compliance with the company’s Code of Conduct, Compliance policies, and relevant laws and regulations.  This role collaborates with Compliance, IT, HR, Internal Audit, Enterprise Risk Management, and Senior Business Leaders to develop, augment, and support monitoring activities and promote an ethical and compliant work environment. 

This individual will partner with members of the Compliance team on strategy, critical projects, provide support across Compliance functions, and will be responsible for maintaining current monitoring activities and developing new monitoring capabilities, improve data analytics, and inform risk assessments.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Leads Cencora’s Global Monitoring function, including participating in the development, implementation, and reporting of an annual Monitoring PlanIdentifies areas of potential enterprise risk and non-compliance and assists in the remediation of riskChampions the development and use of monitoring throughout the enterprise as a means of mitigating and identifying riskEvaluates current monitoring activities and identifies new monitoring tools and analyticsPrepares/oversees regular periodic reporting of monitoring activities and status of Monitoring Plan; develops presentations for Compliance committee meetings and other governance structuresInvestigates and tracks monitoring results, identifies root cause and gap analyses in collaboration with compliance stakeholders, and assists in design of controls and standards for identified gapsCollaborates with Risk Assurance functions within Cencora to inform and identify monitoring resultsMaintains and evaluates records and documentation related to all monitoring activities and resultsEngages in continuous learning and development in the area of Compliance monitoring and risk assessments to guide continued efficiencies and effectivenessEffectively multi-tasks and prioritizes tasks to ensure that work is completed in a timely and efficient mannerExemplifies management responsibilities for one or more data analytics professionals and is required to be an effective manager of his or her reportsPerforms special projects as part of Compliance organization as assigned

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Requires Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative discipline or comparable experience; 4 or more years in a compliance or audit monitoring and/or data analysis field, preferably in healthcare related industry. Strong preference for experience in monitoring program development.

MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

Experience in compliance solutions for data analytics, monitoring, and risk management in a global organizationProficient in MS Office Suite of programs; specific experience using Excel and PowerBI (e.g., pivot tables, graphing, macros, etc.)Knowledge of compliance laws, regulations, and industry guidelines Proven experience in working across a matrix.Demonstrates strong critical thinking and expresses ideas clearly, concisely and logicallyAbility to make balanced and insightful decisions, clear problem-solving capabilities, and comfortable communicating with senior leaders.Strong organizational skills; attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with others.

Salary Range*

$98,200 - 151,360

*This Salary Range reflects a National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/New York/Hawaii/Vermont/Minnesota/Massachusetts/Illinois State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
