Job Summary
What is the opportunity?The primary objective of the Head of Change Delivery in Business Client Services (BCS) is to drive transformational change initiatives within the capital markets operations division of our organization. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our operations remain agile, efficient, and adaptable to evolving market dynamics and regulatory requirements. You will lead and manage portfolio and change delivery for the BCS including management of the Project Managers and Business Analyst team globally. You will oversee and guide BCS projects to successful completion and integrate new products / businesses into BCS platform.
You will lead reviews of BCS processes and functional infrastructures resulting in re-design/improvement of the identified process(es) / function(s) through identification of innovative improvement opportunities, working effectively with the process owners and users. Participation in business unit and functional unit driven initiatives as required.

What will you do?
Initiative Management:
Oversee and guide BCS projects by providing subject matter expertise with a view to successful project executionEscalate roadblocks to BCS management as required Participate as required in business unit sponsored projects that impact BCSCoordinate, facilitate or participate in the development of operational procedures for new businesses and productsIdentify process improvement / reengineering opportunities through streamlining, simplification, elimination of redundancies/overlaps, improved capacity utilization, automation, outsourcing, standardization, etc.Lead / conduct functional reviews primarily focused on productivity improvements as required by individual projects or as requested by BCS managementEnsure effective execution of analysis and requirements gathering by team membersAssist with Planning and budgeting for Change Delivery group involvement in initiativesProvide input to Business Architecture decisions and processManagement of project resources:
Develop and mentor a high-performing team capable of driving change initiatives and delivering tangible resultsManage a global Change Delivery team aligned with the various BCS operational pillars (Settlements and Clearing Services, Client and Data Management, Market Business Services, Funding and Lending, Regulatory and Risk)Add talented PM’s and BA’s with relevant SME expertise to the team as project demand dictates, maintaining appropriate mix of FTE and contractorsManage capacity of critical skill sets in order to meet departmental objectivesDevelop skills and competencies of staff by utilizing training programs pertaining to requirements gathering, use case preparation, UAT activities and the RBC Project Management FrameworkAssign staff to initiativesProvide direction to staffRepresent Change Delivery in joint BCS / WM / QTS committeesEnsure monthly recovery of staff time via MIS or similar toolsRelationship Management:
Partner with Heads of all BCS operational pillars and leadership team to ensure successful execution of portfolioIn conjunction with BCS management, liaise with businesses on BCS initiatives and BU initiatives that impact BCSPortfolio & Change Delivery
Develop and articulate a comprehensive strategy for change delivery in alignment with the overall business objectives and market trendsEvolve and facilitate BCS’s work intake, demand management and work prioritization processCollaborate closely with senior management, technology teams, operations staff, and external partners to gain buy-in and support for change initiatives that will enable BCS’s strategic goals and transformation objectivesEvolve and facilitate BCS’s strategic initiative status reportingCreate and maintain portfolio metrics supported by dashboard reportingEstablish, implement, and maintain enterprise project management methodologiesProvide portfolio management guidance and support to BCS sponsors, leaders, people managers and other team membersCoach and prepare individual sponsors/leaders to lead change, and facilitate alignment of transformational/program objectives among the leadersLead the creation of change plans and guide resources in work activities to achieve required resultsWhat will you need to succeed?
