As a Director, HR Business Partner supporting a sales organization, you will plan, direct, and deliver Corporate and customized HR services supporting business unit/divisional/regional objectives. Participating as a line management team member, you will proactively recommend strategic HR solutions to improve critical business outcomes and ensure a unified HR delivery approach. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Responsibilities

What you can expect on a typical day:

 

Client & Business Support: You will deliver and implement sustainable HR Solutions to the Sales organization. You will understand the business vision, values, strategy, and drivers and create a productive partnership to deliver sustainable HR solutions. You will support Sales HR and Enterprise HR strategies and ensure effective execution and implementation across your client group. You will also develop site-specific HR strategies to respond to changing business needs. Leverage Data for Maximum Impact. You will use your analytical skills to leverage data from multiple sources to drive behavior, allocate resources, and effectively improve performance. Problem Resolution. You will provide counsel and guidance and/or directly handle employee relations situations. You will coach and consult with managers and associates on performance, terminations, sexual harassment, discrimination, etc. – interpreting and complying with all federal and state laws. Partner Internally. You will partner with Employment Law, Sales Compensation, Total Rewards, Sales Learning, and other groups within ADP to achieve business goals. Partner closely with aligned Sales Leaders. You will partner with Sales Leaders across the country, as well as those in your local office, to drive enhanced associate engagement and increased retention along with participating in office-based Sales meetings and activities to strengthen the HR partnership. Promote Organizational Effectiveness through ongoing performance management; organizational design, analysis, and implementation; change management; talent assessment; leadership development; and succession planning. You will facilitate team building and goal setting for the organization. You will build management capability through self-service tools and technology. You will implement and manage critical talent management tools for compensation, performance, succession planning, and more.  Training. You will conduct and facilitate initial and reinforcement training with managers and employees on performance management, behavioral interviewing, etc. You may also conduct or facilitate training relating to programs such as Diversity, Ethics, Harassment, Behavioral Interviewing, Leaders as Coaches, etc.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: Required Qualifications

This position has a flexible working arrangement (hybrid) - 3 days in the office and 2 days at home, weekly. This position will sit in our Parsippany, NJ or Coraopolis, PA office 10 years+ of HR Business Partner experience (or equivalent), within a large organization Experience partnering with business leaders to drive results and implement best practice solutions with a pragmatic approach. Ability to reasonably work across all domestic US time zones. Proven communication, influencing, coaching and relationship building skills. Proven change management experience Strong business acumen Employee relations experience Partner closely with Executive leadership This is an individual contributor role Travel required: 20% annually A college degree is great but not required. What's more important is having the skills to do the job. If you don't have a college degree, other acceptable experiences could include: Experience noted above, OR Military experience. Seasoned experience as an HR Business Partner supporting a sales organization. Knowledge of current labor and employment laws Active HR certifications (PHR, SPHR, etc.) Demonstrated ability to facilitate organizational change and to foster linkage between business objectives and human resources activities. Strong bias for action and keen sense of urgency Skillful in resolving conflicts quickly and with win-win solutions/outcomes
