Reporting to the VP, HR Operations, the Director, HR Strategic Initiatives leads the team and partners closely with leaders within the HR function and across Novant Health deliver on projects aimed to build and sustain an integrated and transformative healthcare system.  The incumbent is a business leader with progressive and broad responsibilities leading growth, integration, and transformation initiatives. Charged with diverse business leadership imperatives and complex change management initiatives including acquisition integrations or company-wide transformation programs that drive efficient and effective processes and structures.

Qualifications Education: Undergraduate Degree, required. Advanced Degree, preferred.Experience: 5 years of progressive experience, preferred.Additional Skills (required):Executive leadership experience, confidence and comfort in working within a health system or similarly complex and regulated type of organization/industry preferred.Demonstrated ability to drive business results through human capital plans, manage effectively in a highly matrixed environment, and bring teams together to achieve a unified human capital plan, improve organization effectiveness and achieve operational efficiencies, while also ensuring business needs are heard and managed for a win-win outcome.Demonstrated experience leading teams to continuously improve operations, processes, services and advisory.Experience leading complex projects in a systematic well organized manner; utilizing project management, continuous improvement tools and proven change management tacticsAdditional Skills (preferred):·   Entrepreneurial spirit and innovative drive for reaching the next great idea and exceeding goals
