Summary:
This position will play a key role in developing strategy, process, and teams to deliver the next generation of monitoring software for ADT. It will lead the architecture decisioning and between ADT and Honeywell (MAS) and oversee the refactoring and development of our next-generation core monitoring platform. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of our monitoring systems and to play a pivotal role in delivering strategic solutions that enhance customer service, operational efficiency, and competitive advantage.

This role requires a strong leader who will work across multiple internal and external teams, driving efficiency, quality, and successful integration efforts. The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership capabilities, a deep understanding of security industry practices, monitoring applications, IT systems and architecture, and expertise in managing complex cross-functional projects.

This is a strategic position with direct exposure and accountability to senior executives across multiple business areas, and will work directly with Public Safety and security industry organizations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Serve as a strategic interface between ADT and MAS for strategy decisions and execution on Monitoring & IT architecture, solution discovery, software development, integration of APIs, risk management, and relationship management. Engage key stakeholders across various teams, including internal and external partners, ensuring alignment and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle. Communicate project status, roadmap, risks, and issues to senior leadership and relevant stakeholders. Identify dependencies and risks, establish a phased delivery approach, adhering to ADT’s financial commitments to MAS. Lead and manage change initiatives to ensure smooth transitions as new processes, technologies, and systems are adopted across the business. Develop and execute change management plans to mitigate resistance and drive adoption. Provide strategic support and guidance for data and integration initiatives, focusing on enhancing operational efficiencies and delivering value to the business. Identify industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. Apply insights to improve business processes, ensuring the organization remains competitive and responsive to customer needs. Evaluate risks and assess the impact of technology solutions on business operations. Analyze the performance of integrated systems and provide recommendations for continuous improvement. Contribute to the organization’s overall technology planning by providing insights on current and future technological needs. Assist in strategic decisions regarding customer data usage, operations, and platform enhancements. Ensure monitoring systems integrate with public safety networks and NG911 systems. Possess a thorough understanding of the organization’s core competencies and their value to business processes that provide a competitive advantage and works with internal and external stakeholders to ensure continuous customer satisfaction. Create a culture of personal responsibility and accountability. Champion the benefits of technology solutions and process improvements in achieving higher levels of business performance. Implement managerial and administrative processes to ensure organizational controls and efficiencies. Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Competencies:

Proven experience in system refactoring, platform transformation, or large-scale technology projects, preferably in the security or related industries. Strong leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and strategic initiatives. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse teams. Expertise in change management and process improvement within technology-driven environments. In-depth knowledge of monitoring systems, data integration, and API development. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and adapt to complex business challenges. Ability to analyze business needs and translate them into technical solutions that drive efficiency and innovation. Experience with performance metrics, quality assurance, and ensuring the seamless integration of systems and platforms.

Qualifications:

Education:
Four (4) year degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred. Experience:
15+ years in security industry, 5+ years in industry business conversions, 5+ years of Program/Project management, 5+ years of management.
