**Director II, Technology** **Location:** Alternate locations may be considered. This position will work in a hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations. The **Director II, Technology** for Digital Health Platforms & Member Service is a highly strategic and facilitative role requiring a combination of focus, flexibility, and a unique blend of skills. As a senior advisor and right-hand person to the VP/CTO, the Director II, Technology will assist in driving strategic initiatives, managing operational cadence, and ensuring alignment across the department. This role is pivotal for increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of the VP/CTO and the broader tech team. **How you will make an impact:** **Strategic Planning and Execution:** + Assist the VP/CTO in developing and executing strategic plans and initiatives for Digital Health Platforms and Member Service. + Track and prioritize key goals and deliverables. + Oversee strategic projects from ideation through successful execution, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives. + Develops Technology Plan and Forecast for an enterprise application, enterprise-wide tool, infrastructure, or a center or domain that is equivalent in scope and complexity + Manages a domain or suite of applications (or the equivalent capital and/or level of responsibility). **Project & Portfolio Management / Process Improvement:** + Oversee the project portfolio to ensure that initiatives are prioritized, and resources are allocated efficiently. + Develop and manage the work intake process, ensuring that new projects and tasks are evaluated, prioritized, and assigned appropriately. + Lead and manage special projects as assigned by the VP/CTO, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope. + Oversees strategic planning, budget development, and management for a single large or multiple cost centers, contract compliance, and any necessary integration of government regulatory requirements. + Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies. + Lead and support change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions and adoption of new processes and technologies. + Delivers and supports system solutions that support the operations of their functional areas on a 24x7x365 basis. + Plan and coordinate department meetings, retreats, and other events. **Operational Management / Data Analysis and Reporting:** + Manage the day-to-day operations of the Office of the VP/CTO. + Oversee the VP/CTO's calendar, ensuring efficient time management. + Prepare and review documents, reports, and presentations for internal and external communications. + Manage departmental budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial objectives are met. + Prepare agendas, take notes, and ensure follow-up on action items. + Leverage analytics to drive evidence-based decision-making, including the development and maintenance of dashboards for key performance indicators (KPIs). + Utilize business intelligence tools to analyze operational data and support the VP/CTO in identifying trends, risks, and opportunities. + Prepare financial reports and forecasts to assist the VP/CTO in making informed financial decisions. **Customer and Stakeholder Management:** + Implement and oversee VoC programs to gather and utilize insights from member feedback. + Act as a liaison between the VP/CTO and external stakeholders, ensuring that customer insights are integrated into departmental strategies. + Prepare the VP/CTO for stakeholder meetings by developing agendas, gathering relevant information, and creating briefing documents. + Coordinate follow-up actions from stakeholder meetings to ensure commitment and progress. + Build relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to facilitate communication and alignment. + Act as a liaison between the VP/CTO and other departments, ensuring efficient information flow and collaboration. **Minimum Requirements:** Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 8 years of IT management experience, experience in function/area being managed, experience managing multiple tasks and projects; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. **Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:** + MBA or advanced degree, preferred + Previous experience in a similar role within the healthcare or technology sector + Familiarity with digital health platforms and technologies + Proven experience in project and operational management + Strong leadership and team management skills + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills + Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills + Experience working closely with senior executives + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail + Position may require occasional travel Please be advised that Elevance Health only accepts resumes for compensation from agencies that have a signed agreement with Elevance Health.
