Director Internal Communications

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies that engage and inform employees across all levels of the organization. The Director of Internal Communications will work closely with senior leaders and other departments to ensure that our internal communications align with our overall business objectives. **Major Responsibilities** · Develop and implement communication strategies that support the organization’s goals and priorities. · Lead and manage a team of internal communication professionals to ensure the timely and effective delivery of internal communications. · Collaborate with senior leaders and other departments to ensure that internal communications align with overall business objectives. · Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization. · Develop and execute communication plans for key initiatives and events, including quarterly town halls, leadership meetings, and other employee engagement activities. · Manage internal communication channels, including email, intranet, social media, and other digital and print channels. · Ensure that all internal communications are consistent with the organization’s brand and messaging. · Monitor and measure the effectiveness of internal communications and make recommendations for improvements. · Provide guidance and support to other departments and business units on internal communications best practices. **Minimum Job Requirements** **Education** + Bachelor's degree **Certification / License** **Work Experience** + Minimum 10 years of experience in internal communications, preferably in a corporate or large organizational setting. + Demonstrated experience developing and executing communication strategies that drive employee engagement and alignment with business objectives. + Demonstrated experience managing multiple communication channels, including email, intranet, social media, and other digital and print channels. **Knowledge / Skills / Abilities** + Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team and collaborate with senior leaders and stakeholders. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely. + Knowledge of best practices in internal communications, including measurement and evaluation techniques. + Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. **Physical Demands** : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 - 50 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus.
