Job Description

The DPS Risk Products & Solutions team collaborates with clients to deliver advanced risk products and services that drive industry leading fraud performance. The Director will create and manage a portfolio of Authentication & Identity services for Visa DPS.  Responsibilities include staying updated on fraud and market trends, focusing on innovation, and launching new products and features designed to tackle threat vectors beyond transactional solutions. Success in this role requires ideating strategic solutions, developing requirements, defining product positioning and pricing, and effectively launching products.

Key directives include building out our identity product suite, enhancing our authentication solutions, and driving innovation into the product roadmap to maximize business and product performance. This role will shape the future of risk and identity solutions at Visa DPS.

This leadership position requires working closely with internal and external stakeholders, particularly within the Issuing and RTP Risk Solutions team and the Issuer Processing business. Collaboration extends to Sales, Account Management, Marketing, Finance, Technology, Operations, and Legal teams, as well as the broader Issuing Solutions organization. The position is based in the United States, with a preference for the Highlands Ranch office.

Responsibilities

Own the identity & authentication product lifecycle: strategy, go-to-market plans, partnerships, revenue, adoption goals, and key artifacts (concept document, business case, product backlog).

Ideate, innovate, and develop our identity product suite in partnership and collaboration with cross-functional Product and Business leaders.  This is a green field opportunity to create a new vertical of solutions.  Decisions must be based on rock solid intel (internal and external) as well as compelling projections based on data and analytics.

Enhance our authentication value added services, strategy, and objectives across a 3–5-year roadmap to serve as a differentiator in winning new issuer processing deals and grow Visa’s value-added services business.

Lead and develop a team to deliver best-in-class innovation, world class product performance, and accelerated concept to market implementation delivery timelines.

Lead cross-functional teams on product enhancements, ensuring business and client needs are prioritized and solved for in a deliberate manner.  Drive product, feature, and functionality development.

Conduct competitive, customer, and market analysis to identify new opportunities, becoming an expert on client needs and market trends to inform strategy.

Manage product financials: pricing, revenue, and expense forecasting.

Articulate the value of DPS and Visa’s risk and identity products.

Support senior management with key client and signature client sales.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic

10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD


Preferred 

12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhDDemonstrated ability to create complete, concise business and technical level requirements including experience with use cases, report and screen mock-ups, API file transmissions, and cross-functional requirements.6+ years of product management experience6+ years of experience leading product lines in the technology industryExperience leading cross-functional teams including Engineering, Design, and Product MarketingExpert level critical thinking, organizational, analytical and influencing skills. Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 151,600.00 to 209,950.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
