Position Summary

Responsible for developing and delivering one or more end-to-end services for specified IT functions and/or business units (BU). Drives overall IT planning efforts; ensures alignment with enterprise IT strategy and standards. Manages IT portfolio in collaboration with other IT and business leaders. Responsible for IT financial budgets including capital, O&M, in servicing and value realization. Directs strategic application, infrastructure, and/or network development, support, maintenance, operations for all delivery functions. Develops and coaches teams.

The Director of Service Management is responsible for overseeing and managing all ITIL Service Management processes within the organization. This includes accountability for Change, Incident, Problem, and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) processes. Additionally, the Director will be responsible for the development of Observability and Monitoring tools, the Integrated Network Operations Center, and the overall leadership and direction of the ServiceNow platform. The Director will ensure that all service management processes and tools are delivered efficiently and effectively, meeting the needs of the organization and its employees.The Director of End User Computing is responsible for overseeing and managing the end user computing environment within the organization. This role includes accountability for End User Support, Deskside Support, Executive Support, printers and multi-function devices, software distribution, and sponsorship of capital projects. The Director will ensure that all end user computing services are delivered efficiently and effectively, meeting the needs of the organization and its employees. This leader will be held accountable for delivering a balance of customer service and increasing the engineering skills withing their team and formalizing the support and processes for our Apple platform.


Essential Responsibilities

Relationship Management: Build strong effective partnerships with internal and external teams; Strong executive presence; able to influence and navigate complex and competing interest of multiple stakeholdersStrategy and Planning: Develop and manage strategic technology plans and roadmaps; Collaborate with IT and business leaders to build and develop the long and mid-term strategic plans to enable business objectives; Drive process improvements and IT service optimizationOperational / Delivery Management: Manages identification, investigation and solving production problems, including preventative measures and appropriate communication to clients regarding resolution; has in-depth knowledge of business operations and drives ongoing improvements in IT performancePortfolio Management: Management of the investments, projects and activities within a IT portfolio; Manage objectives, priorities, delivery and financialsTalent Development: Develop a high performing team by building skills through coaching, mentoring and ongoing training and development; Creates and environment of continuous learning and growth development; Develops leadership talent across the organization and develops plans for enhancing organizational talentFinancial Management: Manages financial budgets: capital, expense and in servicing; Manages regulatory commitments as appropriate; Effectively prioritizes financial spend based on strategic company objectives; Ensure financial prudency on behalf of customers and shareholders

Key Responsibilities: Director of Service Management

ITIL Service Management Processes: Oversee and manage all ITIL Service Management processes, including Change, Incident, Problem, and CMDB, ensuring they are implemented and followed effectively.Observability and Monitoring Tools Development: Lead the development and implementation of Observability and Monitoring tools to ensure the organization's IT infrastructure and applications are monitored and managed proactively.Integrated Network Operations Center: Manage the Integrated Network Operations Center, ensuring it operates efficiently and effectively to support the organization's IT infrastructure and applications.ServiceNow Platform Leadership: Provide overall leadership and direction for the ServiceNow platform, ensuring it meets the organization's needs and is used effectively across all departments.Sponsorship of Capital Projects: Act as the sponsor for capital projects related to service management, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, on quality, scope and benefit and meet the organization's requirements.Strategic Planning: Develop and manage strategic technology plans and roadmaps for service management processes and tools, ensuring alignment with the organization's overall IT strategy.Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in service management processes and tools, ensuring they are optimized and aligned with industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities: Director of End User Computing

End User Support: Oversee the support services provided to end users, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues and requests.Deskside Support: Manage the deskside support team to provide on-site assistance for hardware and software issues.Executive Support: Ensure high-quality, personalized support for executive-level staff, addressing their unique technology needs.Printers and Multi-Function Devices: Oversee the management and maintenance of printers and multi-function devices, ensuring they are operational and meet the needs of the organization.Software Distribution: Manage the distribution and deployment of software applications across the organization, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements and organizational policies.Sponsorship of Capital Projects: Act as the sponsor for capital projects related to end user computing, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, on quality, scope and benefit and meet the organization's requirements.Strategic Planning: Develop and manage strategic technology plans and roadmaps for end user technology, ensuring alignment with the organization's overall IT strategy.Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in end user processes and technology, ensuring they are optimized and aligned with industry best practices.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business, IT or related field or equivalent experience.Sound understanding of core business processes, industry trends, technology and IT environments.Ten years of IT experience and/or integrated utility and regulatory business.Experience building and developing teams.Experience managing leaders of teams.Exceptional relationship management and communications skills.

Master's degreeUtility or Energy Industry experience

Non-Bargaining

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $144,800.00 to $205,600.00 per year
