**DIRECTOR LAB INFORMATION SYSTEMS & AUTOMATION** **| REMOTE**
The Director Laboratory Information Systems + Automation leads the implementation, optimization and maintenance of the laboratory information system within Bon Secours Mercy Health. This position leads laboratory automation initiatives and integration of automated technologies. This position ensures that the LIS is implemented and integrates seamlessly with other clinical systems, supports efficient laboratory operations and complies with all regulatory and quality standards. The Director, LIS + Automation serves as the primary point of contact for all LIS-related technical and operational issues, working closely with I&T counterparts, laboratory staff and healthcare providers.

+ Leads and executes long term strategies for best practices and utilization of the Laboratory Information System.
+ Sets key milestones for LIS work and projects while collaborating with Executive and market directors to develop and maintain downtime procedures for labs on all I&T systems across the ministry.
+ Works with I&T leadership to develop testing plans for system upgrades and changes.
+ Ensures a seamless connection between the LIS and gathers input for improvement and optimization of I&T systems.
+ Leads efforts to work directly with clinical leaders to obtain feedback on LIS + automation technologies for continuous improvement and efficiency.
+ Oversight of ancillary lab I&T coordination and implementation.
**REQUIRED**
+ Bachelors degree in clinical laboratory science (MLS/MLT), healthcare administration, business administration, or related field required
+ 5+ year's experience working with LIS/EPIC ( Beaker experience a plus) in a healthcare or laboratory setting, experience with large scale, multi-site implementations and integrations
**PREFERRED**
+ ASCP licensure
