Essential responsibilities:
Oversee high-volume production of marketing collateral and field enablement materials to support a large team of real estate agents, acting in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Lead a team of five marketers to drive marketing strategy, production and execution for Manhattan region. Partner with regional marketing colleagues to enhance existing programs and/or create custom initiatives and solutions for the local market and agents. Coach, develop and lead marketing staff to achieve scorecard goals and drive professional development of the team. Meet with potential, active and top-tier agents to create the Sotheby’s International Realty value proposition aid with agent promotion, and drive marketing strategy. Work closely with VP of Marketing and Brokerage Managers to strategize marketing goals and achieve sales goals; manage the regional annual marketing budget. Monitor the local competitive landscape and provide observations and analysis to the VP of Marketing to inform how the business can protect and grow its market share. Lead creation of innovative and impactful marketing collateral to support high-visibility properties and agents across print and digital media. Market and roll out new and special company initiatives including conducting staff and agent training in local offices and virtually.
Qualifications:
6-10 years of marketing or agency experience; experience in the real estate industry preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with high production workloads and a diverse set of stakeholders. People Management experience required. Experienced people leader with success record of coaching and motivating teams. Strong and effective communicator both verbally and written; ability to interact with diverse groups of customers and agents, as well as ability to speak to an executive audience. Detail-oriented, with an ability to manage multiple projects in parallel and work cross-functionally and across geographies. Creative outlook with a passion for building innovative marketing; strategic mindset to help guide the Sotheby’s International Realty brand in the Manhattan market. Partner- or client-management experience a plus.
