As a Director of Materials Management at Honeywell, you will be\nresponsible for overseeing and ensuring the success of the materials management\norganization and function. Your primary focus will be global planning, site\nexecution and procurement processes to improve our overall effectiveness in\ndelivering OEM/R&O parts when needed, as well as driving continuous KPI\nimprovements. This role serves as a focal point for Distribution and R&O OTTR,\nPast-due Revenue, and Inventory performance. Objectives will include optimizing\nsupply chain efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring timely delivery of\nmaterials to support our production schedules. You will use your leadership and\nmanagement skills, deep understanding of inventory management systems, and a\nstrategic approach to sourcing and procurement. Your strategic oversight\nensures a streamlined and efficient supply chain, minimizing costs and\nmaximizing resource utilization. Your ability to optimize inventory levels and\nestablish effective procurement strategies directly impacts the company's\nbottom line by reducing operational expenses and ensuring a constant flow of\nmaterials for production. Your proactive approach to materials management\ncontributes significantly to meeting production deadlines, enhancing overall\nbusiness resilience, and customer satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and ensure the success of comprehensive materials management\nstrategies aligned with the company's overall objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand production\nschedules, forecast demand, and establish effective procurement plans. Track total procurement activities, including effective vendor selection\nand contract management to secure a reliable and cost-effective supply of\nmaterials.Oversee inventory levels, minimizing excess or obsolete stock while\nensuring an uninterrupted flow of materials to meet production requirements and\nmaintain accuracy and efficiency.Ensure\ntimely and cost-effective transportation of materials to and from the\nproduction facility. Foster effective communication and collaboration with internal\ndepartments such as production, quality control, and finance. Identify opportunities for process improvement within the materials\nmanagement function. Implement best practices, leverage technology, and stay\ninformed about industry trends to enhance overall efficiency.

Compensation & Benefits:
Incentive Eligible
Salary Range: $183,000-$225,000

8+ years of experience in materials management, procurement, and logistics, with a track record of success in optimizing supply chain processes8+ years of experience managing, motivating, and guiding a related organizationStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisionsExcellent communication and negotiation skillsProficiency in materials management software and ERP systems
