Job Overview:
RWJ Barnabas Health is looking for a Director of Medical Education and Affairs at our Toms River, NJ facility Community Medical Center.
Qualifications:
Required:
A minimum of five years administrative and clinical experience and knowledge. Proven management skills. Experience and ability to determine andarticulate goals and behavioral objectives. Knowledge of hospital operations, patient care, ancillary services. Excellent rapport with Medical Staffmembers. Broad based clinical knowledge, working knowledge of computer capabilities.Successful completion of all required orientation programs.Working Knowledge of MIDAS software.Scheduling Requirements:
Shift working, 9:00 5:00 each dayDays to workFTEssential Functions:
Provides overall coordination of CMC Medical Education Program. Ensures compliance with the CME Mission Statement and the Essentials of CME asrequired by the Medical Society of New Jersey and ACCME to maintain accreditation status. Provides a liaison function to the CMC Medical Staff forMedical Staff Department/Committee meetings, communication with other ancillary or Medical Staff Departments and facilitates the New PhysicianOrientation Program. Provides assistance as required to CMO in assuring Medical Staff compliance with JCAHO requirements, completion of MedicalRecords and necessary educational requirements, such as BLS/ACLS, Cultural Competency and Code of Conduct trainingOther Duties:
