DIRECTOR NAVAL AVIATION ENTERPRISE
Summary You will serve as DIRECTOR NAVAL AVIATION ENTERPRISE and the ASSISTANT CHIEF OF STAFF FOR LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT (N5) of COMMANDER NAVAL AIR PACIFIC. Responsibilities You will serve as the Director, Naval Aviation Enterprise (NAE) and Assistant Chief of Staff for Leadership Development (N5). You will coordinate, communicate, and collaborate with other Naval Aviation stakeholders to manage and encourage cross-enterprise communications for common processes. You will lead, coordinate, and align Enterprise planning and execution at all levels of the NAE. You will analyze and research barriers and opportunities for continuous process improvement. You will oversee NAE Strategic Planning processes. You will coordinate, schedule, plan and facilitate Flag/General Officer and SES-level agendas, schedules, presentations, and logistics in support of key decision-oriented NAE events. You will develop, coordinate, and execute the Leader Development Continuum (LDC) for Naval Aviation. You will plan, coordinate and execute the leadership development symposiums (Junior Officer Training Symposium, Commanding Officers Training Symposium, Major Commanders Training Symposium). You will oversee the curriculum of the Aviation Commanding Officer Training (AVCOT) course and the planning/execution of the Prospective Commanding Officer (PCO)/Executive Officer (PXO)/Command Master Chief and Prospective Major Command programs. You will coordinate and execute Flag/General and SES-level conferences/training symposiums. You will organize, plan, direct, control, coordinate and supervise staff. You will plan and schedule work, make assignments to subordinates based on priorities, consideration of the difficulty and the requirements of the work, and the capabilities of the employee. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-15: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-14) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: planning, coordinating, and executing Naval Aviation Enterprise (NAE) mission by reviewing policies, and processes to drive process improvement and develop plans and strategies; and overseeing the direction and implementation of leadership development objectives within Naval Aviation.
