Division Information
PACCAR’s Information Technology Division (ITD), located in Renton, WA utilizes cutting-edge technology to provide systems development, consulting, voice and data communications services to the entire Corporation, which has high visibility in the technology sector.
The Role/Team
The Global Connected Services team is responsible for promoting how PACCAR is revolutionizing the vehicle ownership experience with the development of innovative services delivered to connected-enabled vehicles. Responsibilities include defining connected vehicle service offerings, ensuring a consistent user experience across brands and channels, developing and executing go-to-market strategies of new services, and business development of the eco system of connected third party services, and subscription management.
The Director Connected Services North America is part of a Global team responsible for the creation and execution of marketing and sales strategies to realize revenue targets through new services. We are looking for a strong commercial personality that is able to enhance existing commercial relationships and find new markets where our data and platforms add value.
The position is responsible for regional Marketing, Sales, Support (user) and Product Portfolio management supporting the localization of content and functions. Global Portfolio is aligned at the Regional level for architecture/functional reuse, and Prioritization.
The Product Portfolio group Defines “What” We Bring to Market through the creation and alignment of a Connected Capabilities Roadmap across the divisions in North America. The group also captures customer needs and gathers market intelligence to support the Product Plan and to drive requirements.
The Marketing and Support team is responsible to develop sales forecasts and executes Go-to-Market Plans. The team develops pricing models, coordinates activities with Division Marketing & Sales and After-Sales teams. Additionally, this group drives customer and dealer engagement and brings the voice of customer to the product team.
This position can be located in either Lewisville, TX at the PACCAR North Texas (PNT) office or Renton, WA.
Job Functions/Responsibilities
Drive customer account activations, subscription renewals and conversion rates.
Manage services portfolio and customer journey.
Drive customer value and monetization opportunities.
Develop go-to-market strategy, value proposition, including launch and captivity tactics.
Develop Marketing and Sales organization.
Engage in market analysis to develop competitive positioning.
Work with global cross-functional marketing teams to support regional plans and to track progress.
Serve as a subject matter expert for the connected services product area.
This role reports to the Senior Director, Global Connected Services.
Qualifications
10-15 years related experience, including international exposure and B2B Connected Services Connected & Automated Services.
Knowledge of the principles of business management and processes of transport companies and dealerships.
Knowledge of and experience in the field of Connected Services.
Proven leadership, analytical and business development skills.
Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills and proven presentation and influencing ability.
Ability to work flexible schedule as business needs dictate.
Education
Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field required; Bachelor's degree required.

Additionally, this role is eligible for a full range of benefit options listed above. This position is also eligible for annual incentive bonus compensation with a target of 30% of base pay.
