Responsibilities

The Director, Nursing- Cancer Service Line provides leadership for all licensed and non-licensed medical staff across KSC Cancer Centers in accordance with established State rules and regulations, AAAHC, QOPI and other standards that may apply for Cancer center facilities. The Director, Nursing – Cancer Service Line will have full accountability for clinical management, personnel recruitment, clinical development, oversight, and regulatory compliance across KSC Cancer Centers locations.  Develops and enforces compliance with Cancer Service Line policies and procedures.  This position works closely with the providers, Cancer Service Line Sr. Director, Cancer Service Line Leadership team and other Departments as may be required.

Job Type: Full Time 

Salary Range: $136,122 - $168,137 (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)

 

Qualifications

Education

Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution

Preferred: MSN, MBA, and/or MHA

Experience

Required: 8 years supervisor/management experience with three or more years of management experience in 

 

a Cancer setting.

Preferred: N/A

License(s)

Required: Valid and current TX RN license, BLS/ALS through American Heart Association

Preferred: N/A

Special Skills

Required: Conflict resolution, strong analytical/leadership skills

Preferred: Advanced computer skills; EPIC experience

Other 

Required: Must obtain OCN certification within a year from date of hire. 

 

Computer skills; working knowledge with Word, Power Point, EMR systems

Preferred: Previous AAAHC, QOPI, or Joint Commission accreditation survey experience
