Director of Accounting
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Director of Accounting based in STERLING HEIGHTS, Michigan. In this role, you will have the opportunity to leverage your skills in Accounting Software Systems, Leadership Development, and Full Cycle Accounting, among others. You will be integral to the smooth operation of our financial functions and the leadership of our accounting team. Responsibilities: • Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). • Implement and maintain comprehensive accounting processes and procedures utilizing Accounting Software Systems such as BlackLine and Epicor ERP. • Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes, incorporating leadership meetings to discuss and align financial goals. • Perform regular auditing to ensure accuracy and compliance in all accounting functions. • Utilize ADP - Financial Services and Concur for efficient management of financial services and expenses. • Supervise the use of CRM to maintain accurate customer credit records. • Guide the development of team members through leadership development initiatives, fostering a productive and efficient team environment. • Perform full cycle accounting duties to ensure financial transactions are properly accounted for. • Regularly engage in budget processes, forecasting and modeling to anticipate the financial needs and growth of the company. • Use leadership skills to promote clear communication, setting goals, and resolving conflicts within the team.
