Job Title: Director of Accounting
Job Description

Lead the accounting team in providing timely and accurate financial statements in compliance with GAAP and company policies within a multi-state environment. Provide financial insight and analysis to executive leadership to guide business decisions. Partner with other departments to support budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation. Continuously evaluate and improve internal controls, accounting workflows, and financial reporting practices. Foster a culture of agility within the finance team, encouraging collaboration, flexibility, and innovation.

ResponsibilitiesOversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.Ensure accurate and timely compliance with tax regulations, audits, and other financial obligations.Encourage collaboration between accounting and other departments to improve financial performance and resolve issues efficiently.Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement to streamline accounting functions.Collaborate with operations, commercial, and technology teams to ensure seamless financial support for business initiatives and changes.Act as a liaison between finance and other departments to align financial processes with overall business strategy.Essential SkillsBachelor’s in Accounting/Finance5+ years manufacturing experienceExperience in people managementMulti-site experienceAdditional Skills & QualificationsCPACost AccountingReportingMonth endReconciliationGeneral ledgerFinanceBachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field7 plus years of experience, manufacturing environment preferredThorough knowledge and understanding of manufacturing systems and solid working knowledge of metal fabrication processes and materialsWell-developed human relations / people management skills; able to delegate authority and provide guidance, direction, goals, feedback, and disciplineStrong overall computer literacy, specifically with Microsoft Office (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Exceptional problem solving/analytical skills with the ability to make quick and appropriate decisionsProficient at multitasking and prioritizingAbility to take on responsibilities outside of expert knowledge areaWork Environment

Hybrid - has to be in the area, expected at least 1-2 days onsite a week. Otherwise, can be flexible.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $155000.00/yr.
