Description Robert Half Management Resources is recruiting for a Technical Accounting Consultant to support our SaaS client on a 3–4-month remote engagement. The Technical Accounting Consultant will report into accounting leadership to perform technical accounting research, accounting memo preparation, and general audit liaison support (PBC) for a first-year audit. The ideal consultant will possess a strong practical and theoretical foundation in technical GAAP accounting, the ability to partner closely with others in an ad hoc capacity, prior financial audit experience, and research savvy. Responsibilities: • Prepare for first-year financial audit with focus on research, memo-writing, and audit liaison • Support ad hoc projects and tasks as needed for financial reporting and corporate accounting • Navigate through necessary software to pull historical data as needed • Prepare financial reporting in Microsoft Excel Requirements • Must possess strong knowledge and understanding of Revenue Recognition • Demonstrated expertise in Technical Accounting is required • Extensive experience in conducting Financial Audits is a must • Familiarity with Stock Compensation is necessary • Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) will be highly valued • Proficiency in using NetSuite is essential • Public accounting background strongly preferred • CPA strongly preferred Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
