Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Director of Accounting to join the global finance organization at a large consumer healthcare company in Manila, Philippines. The Director of Accounting will be aligned to various process areas and be dedicated to people management and directing efforts and execution of the process team. This role involves managing the preparation of financial statements, trial balances, and closing procedures, while ensuring compliance with US GAAP. The candidate will serve as the company expert in these areas, driving consistency and deep expertise across the department. They will also lead ongoing improvements and automation projects, staying updated with industry trends and accounting changes. The role includes fostering collaborative relationships with essential functions and engaging with BPO partners to drive best practices. As a member of the Finance Operations Leadership Team, the candidate will be responsible for the vision, strategy, and delivery of financial operations processes globally. Additionally, they will oversee and mentor the Accounting process teams, fostering an inclusive and high-performing work environment.
