Responsibilities The Director of Admissions/Intake is responsible for implementing and evaluating the facility's admission procedures. This position provides direction to their staff in the provision of psychiatric assessment services, including clinical evaluations, crisis intervention, and referrals. Reporting to the CEO, this position interfaces closely with the Medical Staff, Department Heads, and Administration. Universal Health Services, Inc. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Master’s Degree In Psychology/Sociology or any related field or RN preferred. Two years supervisory experience in an admissions setting or office management. Knowledge of assessments, Pre-certs, insurance, Cobra, computer system a plus. Two years practical experience, preferably in the psychiatric/mental health field. Must have an understanding of DSM and the application to psychiatric and/or chemical dependence service. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
