Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Director of Advanced Endoscopy/Associate GI Fellowship Program Director to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health. Director of Advanced Endoscopy:
Work with Director of Gastroenterology to set patient care standard for advanced endoscopy and, establish clinical goals to ensure the strategic implementation of best practices and development of this program Manage performance metrics for advanced endoscopic procedures and report these to the GI and Department of Medicine QA/PI Committees Assume responsibility for training the Gastroenterology fellows to perform ERCP Will perform all Endoscopic Ultrasound procedures and teach the fellows these techniques Will help develop and then supervise and manage the GI Motility Service Will train in and establish Double Balloon Enteroscopy availability at SBH and teach this to the fellows Will need to monitor new GI new techniques and work with the Director of Gastroenterology to plan and bring to SBH emerging capabilities to serve the GI needs of our patients Participates in medical educational meetings to improve and provide continuous quality care to our patients Provide direct patient care, including dedicated clinic sessions, OR Block time, and supervision of resident program panels as required by the department Chairperson
