Honesty – Reliability – Curiosity – Collaboration – Passion **Role Summary** The Director of Bid Management is responsible for developing and executing strategic sourcing strategies for the IT category, including hardware, software, and services. This role involves collaborative oversight of supplier relationships, contract negotiations to ensure the organization receives the best value for its IT investments. The Director of Bid Management will work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and align procurement strategies with business objectives. **What You Will Do:** + Lead the Bid Management function and drive efficiencies for this function through tools such as the Workday Strategic Sourcing module. + Lead and develop a high-performance cross-functional Bid Management team. + Develop comprehensive bid strategies that align with the company’s business objectives and maximize win probability. + Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks within the IT category. + Provide guidance and support to stakeholders on procurement processes and best practices. + Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement initiatives to achieve savings targets. + Monitor and report on category spend and savings performance. + Provide guidance, support, and motivation to the bid team throughout the bidding process. + Ensure timely and accurate completion of all bid deliverables. + Analyze and/or create Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Quotations (RFQs) to identify key requirements and competitive landscape. + Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders at all levels. + Identify opportunities for process improvements and utilize tools to drive faster quoting experiences with our key vendors. + Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure Bid Management performance. + Monitor vendor performance against agreed-upon service level agreements (SLAs) in the area of quoting. **What You Will Need:** + Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience in Procurement with work experience in Bid Management. + 5+ years of experience in Global Leadership experience managing a team of 5 or more associates. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with Internal Stakeholder and outside suppliers. + Previous experience working with a Managed Services Provider + Proficiency in developing and executing bid strategies that align with business objectives and increase win rates + Skilled in managing the end-to-end process, including RFP, RFQ analysis, to identify key requirements and competitive advantages + Competency in using data and KPIs to measure bid management performance and optimize processes + Critical thinking and experience applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) + Strong knowledge of Hardware, Software and Services across multiple IT platforms. + Previous experience with Workday Strategic Sourcing Model **Why Ensono?** Ensono is a place where we unleash Associates to Do Great Things – for our clients and for your career.
