General Purpose of Job
The Director of Operations, Branded Goods is responsible for leading and managing the branded goods operations team to ensure efficient and effective procurement, onboarding, and delivery of branded products. This role supports sales efforts, oversees supplier relationships, and ensures the scalability and readiness of the team to meet client demands. The Director will also coordinate necessary support services, including technology, warehousing, and logistics, and collaborate with global teams to manage custom orders, driving the overall success and growth of the branded goods division. Additionally, the Director is responsible for setting strategy and maintaining P&L accountability to drive financial performance and strategic growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Team of Branded Goods Buyers: Manage and grow a team of buyers, ensuring they are equipped with the skills and resources needed to excel.Support Sales Efforts: Collaborate with the sales team to support both new and existing client opportunities, including key accounts.Supplier Onboarding and Training: Work closely the Print Management team to onboard necessary branded suppliers and cross-train existing buyer resources to ensure rapid scalability.Process Development: Build out and oversee the working process for transactional branded goods orders, from initial request and quoting through to order delivery.Team Scaling: Scale the team to handle increased program spend and implement solutions where we are selected as the agency to manage all branded goods for our clients.Support Services Coordination: Ensure all necessary support services for the branded goods solution are in place, including client-facing technology, warehousing, and logistics.Global Collaboration: Partner with the Global Passport team to manage overseas custom branded goods orders.Strategy Setting: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive the growth and success of the branded goods division.P&L Accountability: Maintain profit and loss accountability, ensuring financial targets are met and managing budgets effectively.
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree
Experience: 10+ years of experience in operations management, preferably within branded goods.

Strategic mindset with a focus on aligning business objectives with client needs.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities as well as process optimization.Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex ideas, clearly and persuasively.Proficient in budget planning, financial management and driving cost-saving initiatives. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
